My Mom Died Today

and so I am having to head out of town in about 2 hrs. and catch a plane to Montana. So not sure if I will feel like posting here or not. But just wanted to let you all know.
In a way it was no shocker at all when she died, but it still comes as a shocker. Today started like no other day. Just got up got ready and went to work. And then my Sister called to let me know my Mom was dying, and only had hrs. to live. 2 hrs. later she was gone. She was only 63 yrs. old.
In some ways I feel this will bring a little closure for our family with some of the issues that have been going on over all of our life, but it is still hard to believe she is gone. There will be 4 out of the 5 kids there, and the Funeral is Thursday or Friday.
If you are a Praying person, could you please keep my family in Prayer at this time? Thanks!!

Oh this is a sad time for you, I think one of the biggest affects on your life is when you lose one of your parents, they are part of you, and no matter what the circumstances are there is something within you that is gone, you only have one real mum and one real dad, I think when they pass on it sets you thinking about good times and bad times and your own mortality, I went through life thinking my mum and dad would always be there but it hit me like a bomb when my dad passed away, I was daddy's little girl even though I wa grown up, I never thought of him not being there, I wish you well through this time and I hope you get what I call an inner strength that comes from them to help you get through it. My thoughts are with you.

Well, both of my Real parents are gone now. So now it is just my husbands parents that are still around. So now all I do have to look back on is memories.

Prayers being sent your way for all the family, friends, and loved ones. God bless you all and may he keep you in his arms throughout this time. Take care. You'll be in my thoughts and I will be praying daily for all you as well. When my mom passed it also was no shocker as we had waited many weeks for what the Dr said was her 24 hours to live.

the spirit of our love ones will always linger with us in our hearts and minds. we will never forget them no matter what till our dying day. we will always treasure them every moment and recall those happy days we have spent with them for always. i am sure though that our love ones would love it better if we keep on with our battle in life even after when they are gone. so for you, krausehome, keep on with the fight for life and be a winner, too. i believe that your mom have won her battles, too.
