Do you wear slippers around the house?

I have one pair of slippers and only one because I don't buy them for myself. I prefer to go barefoot when I'm in the house all year round. The one pair I own were given to me last Christmas by my son who must have run out of ideas for gifts for me...lol...he knows I like to be barefoot. He got me a bathrobe and the slippers. Once in awhile I do put them on and it's usually when I get out of the shower.
Do you make it a habit to wear slippers? How many pairs do you have? Do you put them on when you get out of the shower or bath?

I will normally wear slippers after shower but I also enjoy being barefoot before the shower

Nope, don't own a single pair. I mostly wear socks around the home if my feet get cold.

I wear slippers constantly, ctry, and I have several pairs. I do not like going barefoot at all. I think it is a hangover from when I was a kid and used to get splinters or broken glass in my feet. It put so much stress on me that I finally decided that the soles of my feet couldn't take it any more. Now I will not even go to the bathroom without my slippers, lol.

I used to wear slippers, because the palce I uesd to live was too coold, so not way to walk barefoot... but bow I am in Florida so I really do not need to wear them... sometimes I wear flipflop at home, but most of the time I walk around barefoot!

In the summer I wear flip flops more than I do my slippers. The slippers are more for winter and would be too hot.

I do not wear slippers around the house I go barefoot.I like going barefoot even in the winter time when I am in the house.
We have carpet in all our rooms except for the bathroom,so my feet dont get that cold.

During the winter, once I start wearing house slippers, yes I tend to wear them all the time, inside the house and out of the house as well. During the summer it's usually flip flops or barefoot in the house. I need to get me another pair, now that I have that pesky heel spur I need to cushion my feet more.

Hi ctrymuziklvr, and yes, I have several pairs and wear one of these always. Here is much to cold to go barefoot, as we have cold tiles all over the place and I can't stand cold, + I get easily the flu and such. I also get these as present usually

It must be my wood floors aren't very cold. Either that or I'm just used to it.

I have about 4 pairs of slippers at home 3 of them are to be used inside the house and the other when I go outside of the house. I wear slippers anywhere in the house as soon as I came back from work then I changed into slippers to relax my feet. I don't used to be barefoot inside the house. When I came out from shower I also wear slippers. Even if im inside the room im also wearing slippers.

I only ever really wear slippers around the house in the winter, I have a stone effect kitchen floor and believe me you dont want to be walking bare foot across it first thing in the morning in the winter months. Have fun

hi... in our country, slippers are a norm when we are at home. i have about total of 3...1 for the house and 2 flipflops for going outside...nowadays, designer flipflops are the in thing so we often used it to go malling or somewhere where no shoes are required. of course, to go to work, we need formal shoes... i am most comfortable with a pair of slippers.. been wanting a fuzzy one...hahaha...

No I hate wearing shoes when I leave the house, so darn sure am not going to put them on when I am inside. I love walking across my hardwood floors barefooted! Call me a country bumpkin, but I like to run around barefooted! 8-D

Hi, I have one pair of slippers.
I usually put them on when I get out of the shower.
Then end up leaving them somewhere, either behind my computer or under the kitchen table. Normally I lose them.
Bought them because I had cold feet. But still end up bare foot. LOL

I wear my slippers in the cooler months. My feet get pretty cold and in an attempt to ward of the chill, I put my slippers on. Depending on how cold they are, I choose between my purple Land's End slippers or my fuzzy lambs wool slippers.

I don't wear slipper but I do wear flip flops around the house. They are flip flops that have soles like walking shoes.And I do have another pair that I wear when I get out of the shower.

I have several pairs of slippers that I bought in the vain attempt over the years to get my feet to finally be warm....but inevitably I always end up taking them off and throwing them under the bed. :) Ah well. It was good while it lasted but I much prefer the barefeet method myself.

I would barefoot if I'm at home. I'm used to barefoot in the house since young so if I wear slipper suddenly I would feel awkward

I have a couple of pairs of slippers, but I can never remember where I put them. I will have to find some for winter because the floor gets very cold. I usually try to wear them in the winter when I get up in the morning so my feet don't hit the cold floor. After a shower would be a good idea. We have a towel down now so we don't slip and slide. Hi, I have pairs of slippers!! However, haha, I never wear them. I don't know why but I am feeling uncomfortable with slipper at home. To me, I like to stay at home as it doesn't need to wear shoe. Haha, so I will never wear slipper around at home/
