Do You Play The Lottery...

I won $8 on a dollar ticket. I used $5 of my winnings towards gas and then got a $3 dollar bingo ticket. I won $3 on that ticket. I haven't cashed it in yet, wish me luck.

This is where my husband and I strongly disagree. he believes the L♥rd will bless him through the lottery because He can do anything. Yes I agree G♥d can do anything, but I don't believe that He uses the lottery. It is a disgusting system that uses poor people and the money that is suppose to go to the schools? That is a joke..Yes,my husband has won, the biggest amount was years ago, about 200.00, and I hate it when he does win, even a little because he thinks G♥d is blessing him...

yea we play when it gets up there just for the idea of winning makes our minds flow with what we could do with the money lol but ya have to do it like it is fun and only sped money if ya got any extra.

i play, at least once or twice a week. am i going to win? i don't know, but i believe that i can and as long as i can have faith in that, anything is possible

I rarely play it--haven't for years. I don't really believe in gambling and that's what that is. I know of some people that have won small amounts, but never met anyone who won big.

Some friends and I play the lottery as a groujp and we split all the earnings from it. We've won a very little bit of money so far, but maybe one day we'll hit the big one. I don't know anyone personally that has won big. My dad won about $1000 on time but I think that's the most so far. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

I have never played the lottery in my entire life. When it comes to money that I'll probably lose anyway, I prefer sports betting. I won a little money from that. Not much, but enough to say I won more than I played. That is something that most lottery players can't say.

I don't play the lottery. My dad buys me tickets every once in a while. I won like $20 one time but never any more than that. I wish I could win the big bucks lol.

We used to spend 60 bucks a week on lottery tickets but now we don't have the money. One year, for mothers day, we gave my Mother in Law a scratch off ticket. She one 1000 bucks! Nice gift huh?

I play the lottery, every day that it's on. I play 3 different drawings. One of them is a 7 day a week one. I have played various ones, every day for 16 years. I should be a millionaire, by now, or at least I though I would, when I started playing the same numbers, everyday, all those years ago. I now, think I should have just been saving those few dollars, all these years, and I could have had a decent savings account. lol

My hubby and I used to buy a ticket once a week...now not so often. We do it now more 'when the spirit moves us' rather than routinely doing it out of habit. My Mom was a person who did it that way and always said.."You cannot win if you don't have a ticket...and that one can buy a lot of dreams for the price of a ticket." So with that in mind she used her intuitive knowing and in the mid-eighties she won $50,000. Now in today's world that is not so much...but when the dollar was worth more it was more than double that. She was one number off the $500,000 prize but she was happy with her winnings. So do I think they are a waste of money...yes it they are over-purchased in a desperate attachment to a belief. Do I know someone who won...yes! So form your own opinions on this one! The brother of my boyfriend won $30,000.00 5 years back on lotto 6/49 and now hes so addicted that he plays every wednesday and saturday night.I see him at the same store that he had the winning ticket getting his ticket made.Hes still hoping he will win again since then.:{

We play the lottery like cash 5 and powerball but not often, we also buy scratch off ticket. We do this every now and then. it's hard to hit big money on the lottery but who knows, we already win some money on scratch off tickets like $50 - 100. we can't buy all the time since it's extra expense. we just try it couple of times if we could win. not really - I think in my entire life I have purchased one lotto ticket. my husband has done so a dozen times or so in our 20 year marriage. I do on occassion buy those $1 scratch tickets that are dispensed from a roll, I will buy 1 or2 a few times a year

I play occasionally, if I have an extra couple of bucks and the mood strikes. I never actually expect to win. I've never known anyone to win a jackpot, but I have family members who have won $50-$100 for matching a certain amount of numbers, and I know someone who won $20 on a scratch off ticket. That's about it.

well i play it once in awhile when the jack pots get really big.hey we have to play to win.other than that i dont play it,but sometimes i wonder if i should because i would say a number and it will come out that night.maybe i will play this weekend some.take care.pattie

i love playing the lottery... i buy 2 different ones a week... i end up with alot of free tickets or anything ranging from $5 and the most i have ever won was 500k... i do play alot of scratch tickets as ppl always end up buying them for me... i go to my fair share of the casino as well... :) they are always fun and usually i walk out with something i will play 10 or 20 bucks but dont put anything else in... if its gone its gone and if i walk out with something then its all good... i play sports selct as well as im pretty big into the football...
