Above the Clouds...

Wow that is so pretty; I have neaver been on a plane. but it probly would be nice to look out the window. I wna to go on a plane someday, OUr boys want to go on a plane ride.

Nice one. I love taking pictures out the window on the plane, especially when I'm flying over mountains. It's one of the things about flying that I never get sick of.

Awesome shot. I take many photos of clouds and storms. But I have yet to fly since I've had my digital camera. I loved the photo. Thanks. Personally it doesn't matter where I sit on a plane. One can always get someone to allow you to look out their window seat. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Thats a VERY cool Picture!! I havent been on a plane in 14+ years. Dont really like them to much. I do like to sit by the window though. Its amazing what things look like from above. I remember one trip when I was young my brother said all the cars look like bugs. Then proceded to "squash" them through the window. LOL He was 3 at the time!!

Some of the best clouds seen from on airplane are on the way to England. I went on February (to England) this year and nothing compares to those clouds. They were so fluffy and big, covering all your eye seight. All you were able to see was clouds, a white blanket of clouds. Never saw something that beautiful again. Hope to see them again when I come back there, and hope to get a sit by the window. I'd hate it if it were in the middle or 2 seats away from the window. I will specifically tell them I want a sit by the window :)

I like to take photos from the the palne when I travel. Soem times I get luck as I did in this photo, I was able to catch the clouds and their shadow on the ocean.

Wow, that is such a good picture it almost looks unreal! I do like the window seat, but I haven't flown in a good seven years. It is fun to be above the clouds.

Wow that is really pretty an very cool. I have never been into plane I wish someday just like you I will be having my chance to see the wonderful view. You are very lucky to see that wonderful views. Me, most of the time I travel riding ship. I also enjoy the view and the long time of travel there. You feel like you are in a hotel if during summer... but rainy days, its difficult.

When I flew to NJ this summer I was by the window &, when I wasn't stitching, I was staring out the window pretending the clouds were a land above the earth & the earth below was the sea. Doesn't take much to entertain me does it?

Hi Ourdew. I like the photo attachment you have here. I also like to sit by the window of the airplane everytime I travel. I like to watch the view below when the plane is ascending and descending. The houses, cars, trees are like miniatures when I watch it from the plane. I also like to watch the clouds. They are like cotton balls.

That is such a nice shot you've got there. I noticed how the blue sky above has started to darken as my eye was drawn into space at the edge of the atmosphere. I love pictures that seem to draw the imagination in this way. :-)

Wow, you took a nice photo! It is hard to take a good photo when you are in the airplane. I always like to sit by the window because I like to look outside. Especially sometimes I can see the roads, rivers or houses.

I guess you like photography, thank you for sharing with us your pictures, the last time I flew was at night and you don't get to see anything, and I am not a frequent flier. I guess most people would take clouds for granted and wouldn't give them a second glance. It must be wonderful to float around in the sky all day. Thanks again for sharing your photos, truly a great sight.

That is truely an Awsome pic... I have taken pics from the airplane too, not as good as your though. I love sitting by the window I am amazed by flying, how such a heavy aircraft can fly so gracefully and being in the clouds it's a beautiful feeling....

I have to admit, I've never been in an airplane. If the views were like the ones in your photos, though, I would most likely be next to the window. I love cloud watching. :) Thanks for sharing that amazing photo of the clouds!

Yeah i love it also to sit by the window.Specially when we are landing it is nice to see the big city.And it the night it is even nicer.

Hi OURDEW! I have got the same picture above the clouds. I had a very interesting experience above the clouds. Once I was a local flight from Jinan to Shenzhen in China. When I left in Jinan the weather was great and so was the flight. There was no sign of any storm. But after 3 hours we could not land because below the clouds was a very heavy storm. We could stay above the clouds and escaped the storm but we could not escape the fact that the plane was running out of fuel. So we landed on an airport we were not destined to go for a break. We finally arrived our destination safely but after 12 hours of what should only be a 3-hour flight. Sometimes life's journey will take us longer to our dreams, but if we hang on and not give up, we will get there. Waiting is a pain in the neck, but patience pays.
