There were only two of us interviewing for the temporary positions so instead of a group interview, I ended up having a one-on-one with the Manager of HR (which I was happy about). It wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be and they even offered a step up from what I applied for and I am so happy that they were able to see the potential in me and what I could offer to the position.
I had to fill out millions of forms which took me almost 30 minutes to complete because I made sure I read every single little detail before filling them in and signing them LOL
Anyways I wanted to thank you all for your support and encouragement and I promise I won't be a stranger and will visit often. My first training session doesn't start until next Wednesday so I'll answer as many posts as I can before then.

well done, im glad the interview went well and you got the job.... i bet your stoked...
i also just got a job, but its full time, as i was casual working there for 9 months and last thursday it got offered to me, so im stoke as well

It sure was whyaskq even though some of the forms were confusing. I just realised afterwards that have to adjust a few so I'm hoping that it is not too late when I go to my training tommorrow evening. Thanks again for your support!

I'm so happy for you! Good luck with the new job. I know when I started my new job, MyLot had to go to the backburner for a bit. I now mostly get to do it on the weekend, but my job is worth it. Anyway, good luck and congragulations again.

Thank you very much Flight. I had my first day of training from 9am-6pm yesterday and boy was I tired at the end of it. My first day of work starts this afternoon, so there is no mucking around, its straight into it. I am still nervous about the whole thing but will hang in there. I hope your job is going good for you too.
I have a lot to catch up on here but it will have to wait until tommorrow as I'm not scheduled to work then YAY LOL Im going to need that day off.

Thank you ctry. I was suppose to start my training tommorrow but they have deferred it for Saturday so looking forward to it. It's going to be a long day from 9-6pm and my hubby is happy to take care of my son :) thanks for your support!

Thank you secretbear for you support. We didn't have a celebration as such because we had a few things to do this weekend but hopefully when I get my first paycheck then I'll shout my hubby and son out for dinner.

I most definitely won't forget you all as I'll make sure I keep in touch even if it is not as often as I use to. I still do have time as the job is during the day and some evenings and the occasional weekend. It's only during the holiday season so it suits me fine.
