What do you buy most for Christmas gifts?

Are you the one that shops for sweaters? Or are you the one that picks up that special little sentimental gift that will make someone cry....or are you the fruit cake shopper that send off something prepackaged like that? I try to get special little gifts for each person and also a gift card so they can buy what they want. So what kind of gift giver are you? And what are you looking for in a gift for everyone for Christmas?

I like to do gift baskets with lots of useful things in it. Or I like to do personalized gifts. For my husbands parents this year I want to get a picture of our kids put on coffee mugs for them. they drink coffee all the time so i think they will like them.

Personalized gifts are always a huge hit with family members. I've done that in the past as well. I still have a coffee mug with my kids pictures from when they were preteens. HAHAHA! Years ago remind you. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

The gift I give the most are candles. Every woman displays candles in their home, burns candles, etc... There are so many different types of candles that you can find one that will fit almost any type of person. I even bought a money candle for my brother one year. You burn the candle and there is a bill of money inside, the surprise is, how much money you get. He loved it. The funny thing is, every Christmas not only do I give a bunch of candles, I receive a bunch too!

I have a limited budget, so I tend to look out for Christmas throughout the year, to pick up a bargain or two in the sales, or I will look for a bargain on Ebay. I also enter online competitions and have been quite successful in winning things like cds and dvds, I have a boxful of brand new sealed cds and dvds which I have won in the past, they make excellent presents and save me a fortune. I also look round for personal things which hold meaning and show my friends and family I have put thought into getting them their presents.

i usually give gifts that can be very useful or something that of their interests, like their favorite cartoon character, or their favorite color, or favorite whatever. ^__^ but i don't really have budget for expensive gifts so i always look for something simple and cheap but hard to find and kind of personalized. ^__^ i'm not looking forward for a gift, i'm actually not expecting for one. if someone will give me something then i'll be thankful for it and love the person more. ^__^

I have it pretty select to each memeber of family. To my brother I give most of the time some clothes, because he likes my taste so taht is not a problem buy something for him. My mum loves books, so she would get some book and plus some cosmetic or clothes. the biggest problem is for my dad, but I decide to by him this year close also. But this yeah i have also my future in-laws and have no idea what to buy them. Hope I would find something.

To be honest, i usually end up buying people Gift Cards lol. I just don't have the time anymore, and i'm always worried that when i do buy something meaningful that they will won't want it, or already own something similar. I tend to buy my kids clothes. Lots and Lots of Clothes. (which we all know kids love ;) )

I am not nor ever been the fruit cake giver. Luckily all those types in my family have passed away so I won't be getting one. Hopefully the kids don't get me one. HAHAHA! I am buying mostly clothes and toys. As the two grandsons are the top priority these past few years for Christmas. A toy here and there as well. But mostly clothes for the grandsons, the daughter, and the son as well. I have yet to decide what to buy my wife. Maybe a fruit cake. HAHAHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I tend to give out gift cards for Christmas gifts. I give out gift cards to their favorite store. I figure that you can't go wrong by giving out gift cards. That way they can get what they want or need.

Before I used to buy toys and clothes to give away during Christmas especially to my godchildren. But I noticed, not all are happy to recieved it, so i decided to give cash instead of material things. So they can choose what they want for themselves.

I try to find the special little meaningful gifts. S/o is a last minute, grab what's easy and popular type shopper usually. He atually surprised me tonight by doing some Christmas shopping on his own. He actually bought things that the boys had talked about wanting rather than just stuff that would be cool to have.

its nice to slpurge on this very special season of our lives but sometimes our monetary side is very limited that we are really foed to be resoureceful in many ways.As early as october I have started making croshet things to be given to god children and now I have started making purses for my adult firends and officemates. In that way they will know that I have made it myself and exerted effort in making those crochets, I hope they will be able to appreciate it.

I'm the type who thinks of that perfect gift for my family and a bunch of close friends. I don't like giving gifts that i didn't put much thought into. I try really hard to figure what the recipient would enjoy receiving.
