Will you be out shopping the after Christmas sales today and hitting the mall? I'm seeing lots of commercials on TV with great sales of 70% off. I'm just trying to recover from the holidays and enjoying my day off today with peach and quiet. I will probably run to the post office later but that is the extent of my outings for the day. No shopping for me today...I'll pass thank you. I'm also broke..haha. What about you? Will you be out looking for after Christmas bargains and sales?

I'll probably go out tonmorrow, kareng. Just to Target, just for the 50% off Christmas items. I do that every year, to buy myself some "presents" for next year. Today was really crummy weather and I had to clean up from yesterday, so we stayed in.

I hope you found some good stuff! I bought very little after Christmas stuff. I think the best buy was an almost 2 lb. box of candy canes for a nickel! I got three boxes..woohoo! I'll have peppermint for a while now...lol.

It also cost me alot of money to get my family memebers presents too. But I would go after christmas sale shopping if I have the chance.

So far, I haven't been tempted. I did pick up a few things today. I got a serving bowl for $3, some Christmas cookies 1/2 price and red and white chocolate chips for baking. They will also work for Valentine's Day which is right around the corner! The bag only costs $.40! I also picked up an outfit for my grandson that was marked down to $5.00. So far that is all I've bought. I have to go to Bed Bath and Beyond for a return. My husband bought me a neon LSU light that was broken :( I doubt they will have anymore in stock...oh well.

Best time of the year to get great bargains for next Christmas's presents! If you have a place to store them, you can save a fortune! By buying now not only do you save big money you also save the hassle of having to shop around, avoid the crowds and miss the stampede next Christmas! That's what I do! And by the time Christmas 2008 comes round most of my presents are bought and paid for! Happy bargain hunting my friend.

I'm totally broke too! I don't think I will even be leaving my house at all today. My husband wants to go do something but, I don't want to fight the traffic. The boys got money for Christmas and I told them that I would take them shopping tomorrow. I'll bet the sales will be even better tomorrow anyway. LOL

They will probably be good through the weekend. I'm not hurrying out. I know my hubby will be going to Walmart for those animated Christmas animals that sing. hahaha. I would only let him buy one before Christmas. Last year they were going for $2-$5 after Christmas and lots of them were left over.

Yes, we went out today to Target and Best Buy. Target had 50% off their Christmas decor and already the shelves are practically empty. I don't know if they will ever get to the 70% off stage. Best Buy was just crazy busy. They did not appear to have very good sales at all. They were pretty much out of stock of everything too.

I like anyone else love a good sale. No, I will not be taking advantage of any after Christmas supersale because I got everything I wanted for Christmas. I do not like the idea of shopping right now because it may encourage impulse buying. I require new electronics for my small business; but I still have more research to do to find the best products and services that will fit my needs. When it comes to electronics sometimes the latest and the greatest is what you need, so taking advantage of a sale on older devices to make room for the new ones can be a waste of money.

I don't like shopping at the best of times! I do like to pick up things for my kids though. I will be out in the sales looking for birthday presents for my son and my mum! And I've got a couple of friends expecting babies early in the new year so I might have a look for some bargains for them! If it wasn't for all that, I would definitely not be out in the sales!

I have $20 cash and my share of a $100 gift card to Kmart but I stayed home today. We have a huge bill to get our truck fixed so we're just holding on to what we have in case we REALLY need it. I do have a few Christmas things I'd like to pick up from the after Christmas sales but will probably wait until Saturday so I'm not making an extra trip into town.

I went out for a while tonight....to JoAnn's fabrics and bought a few things then went to the mall where I didn't find a thing. I still have one Christmas and that is with my sisters and what I was looking for they didn't have so I got something else and that wasn't on sale.

We had every intention of going shopping on Boxing Day. We left the house on our way to Walmart to pick up some things, like vitamins but we decided to not go and fight the crowds. Instead we used the free time away from the family visiters, to be alone. We went for a drive instead and sat and talked for a couple hours, in the car. We had company from out of town for 10 days, by then for 4 days, and needed some alone time together, my hubby and I. We are very private people so it was a difficult time for us to have people in our home for 10 days, even though they were family members.

I am giving the post christmas sales a miss this year. Sort of tired of shopping now (thought I would never say this). Perhaps it's too much partying that got into me but I am taking these few days to rest before the next round of New Year's parties start. :-)

No, I won't be out for shopping. One reason would be because I have no more to spend since I've done my Christmas shopping long long ago. Second, I won't be shopping because the so-called "SALE" are not actually sale since malls usually put in big mark-ups a good month before the Christmas season and so when the Christmas season arrives they post big discounts but actually they just have brought items back to their original prices. You can actually notice this if you are a smart shopper and closely watches price movements.
