Do you have a favorite food that has stuck with you ever sence you were a small child? Is this particular food associated with a past time memory? Do you know how to even make this particular kind of food? I would like to know. My favorite food out their is pizza. I enjoy this food because it is associated with so many good times that I have had with my friends in the past. I know how to make the pizza, but the only problem is, the ingredients are so expensive for me. But when I do make the food- it is so pleasing to the pallet.

As a matter of fact i do have a food that really sticks out in my memory but it is not my favorite thing to eat but i do like it,and it brings back many memories...When i was a young child i was very sickly, and did not want to eat, and my Mom and i was very close..The thing is i use to stay at the doctors office a lot because i was sickly, after we saw the doctor Mom and i would go home and she would fix me "Mrs Grass chicken noodle soup"It ocmes in a box, and it has a golden egg that you add to it after the noodles are done..I loved that soup and thats all that i liked to eat, that and jello, so i smell that soup to this day.I also buy it at the store and fix it.It always brings back child hood memories, and jello as well.i still to this day like them both, although they are not favorites of mine, they bring out many momories of my childhood.

One o' my favorite food is fried eggs.I have this one enjoyable memory with eggs.I liked watching daffy duck a lot and I would copy him in one episode when he ate some spiced mexican food with so much appetite.I would eat exactly like him and pretend it burned my mouth. Same with carrots ,I would eat them in seconds just like Bugs Bunny.Thank you for bringing back some wonderful memories.

Unfortunately I still haven't learned how to cook an egg. It's one of my goals to be able to cook like a chef.

My favorite food is my moms spegetti. My kids favorite is my moms spetetti. I use to love to walk in our frount door and smell all the garlic she puts in the meal. I remember getting my plate full and a large glass of milk. I have tried over and over again to make it just like hers. She has even told me exactly how. It never turns out like hers. I think she is holding out on me. LOL

I am not surprised that so many people mention eggs here. I do remember when I had the childhood illness called chicken pox being brought poached eggs with toast and green tea. Mum was horrified that if she did not keep me rested and happy I would get pox marks on my face and then everyone would call her a bad mum. So this once I was treated like royalty. But my favorite food is macaroni and cheese, which is certainly the favorite of many others, too.

My favorite food is beef stroganoff. It reminds me of my grandmother. She and I use to cook together before she passed. I now know how to prepare pasta dishes because I learned to prepare a dish like this so early in life.

It's not a food persay but I recall eating cotton candy while out with my dad as a kid. He would take me to a circus or sporting event and that's all I wanted to eat. It brings back such good memories as I always loved my day out with my father. It's full of sugar and food coloring which aren't the healthiest of products to eat. I don't make it since I don't have a machine. Those were the good, old days.

My grandmother's apple butter, it made the whole house smell so good, since it baked all day in the oven on low heat. The smell of the apples, cinnamon, ginger, it all smelled so good. And I do know how to make it, my daughters loved it when they would come in and smell it.

I dont have that kind of food but I still like a food eventhough it associated with bad memory. Memory about my Mom is not beautiful(I always sad when I think bout her), but I like her banana cake. I love it very much. My mom like making cakes and her hobby made me fat.I can make it (maybe). I'm not quite sure I know the ingridients.

It's not a favorite food, but it spawned a "bad habit" that's been with me even until now. My mother used to make instant ramen for me when I was a child, and let me have a small piece of the dried noodle block to nibble at while the rest of it prepared. I can't help but take a small piece to snack on whenever I get the craving for ramen.
