we're still together. we're happier. he's recovering brilliantly. this year has to be better.

Hey,I dont know you ,I haven't seen you .But It's good to hear that you are back after you had a lot to deal with.It is always good to hear that you are coping up well and even though I dont know the He in your post,I wish a speedy recovery to him. I wish all the best to you for your future life and I hope that you are always happy.

Welcome back Galena. I had wondered where you had disappeared to, but I guess you needed time off to sort things out. I'm glad to hear that you and your partner are still together and that he's getting better--how is his family treating you though? I remember they were the main problem. Yes, here's wishing this year is a good one for all of us :)

his family are still a problem but he's standing up to them more. hopefully they'll start to realise that treating me like that will only push him away. our engagement is still the families dirty little secret, as I bumped into his auntie and she had no idea about it. but she was delighted, so there you go. I think he's making his stand that I'm part of his future, and if they want to be too then they'll have to accept that.

I am very pleased for you. It is very good that your partner recognised that he needed help & got it. I wish my husband would realise that he needs help with anger management, but he doesn't.

Glad to see you're back!! I was starting to wonder if you've left for good but now understand that you needed a break to get yourself in order. Good to see you here again. Hope the best for you and yours.
