MyLot Sign and Catching Up...

First off, take a look at the little MyLot sign I made. Isn't it cute? LOL A star for everyone...take your pick. If you want to save it for yourself just right click and save as. Hubby asked me if I was going to use it as my Avatar...but no, I like my rose but I am putting it in my photos section.
Also, I am working on getting caught up with discussions so if I reply to an older discussion of yours I am simply catching up. Also I am working on cleaning up my own discussions.
Here's the plan I've devised. I'll respond to at least 25 discussions a day, rate/best response/respond to at least two of my discussions a day and start at least one new discussion at least every other day. If I feel up to doing more I will but at least I'll do this much each day so I can start working through some of it.
So how do you catch up when you fall behind? What do you think of my MyLot sign?

I very much like your profile full stop! You have done a lot to it and it looks very impressive and I like your Mylot sign, you have a talent there! eyecatching. When I fall behind in Mylot which is very rare unless I go away and the notifications pile up! I do as many as I can, and do them in order, like oldest first and work through them, I have the luxury of time at the moment, and I don't get too bulked down with them. I am still working through my best responses however, trouble is so many don't have any responses to, so there, they sit, I've got pages of them still to go.

I actually can't take credit for my profile b/c my brother did it for me. I tried numerous times but finally resorted to letting him do it. I plan on having him teach me how it's done but for now I'm just learning to use PSP (Paint Shop Pro) and make little tags with names on them.
For the most part, I have ample time on my hands especially since it's winter but with winter comes the holidays and everything seems so hectic. Hopefully, now that there past things will settle down.

Whenever you get to my posts is okay with me. Your plan sounds good. I just respond to all the posts I can in the time I have. And I slowly get caught up.

Stop thinking of it as being late. All the posts will be there when you get to them. Take your time, you will catch up.

I am behind in my responses too!!!
I still have Christmas discussions that I have saved and would like to respond to! LOL
Good Luck to you! I too am trying to get caught up but there are so many current discussions that I want to respond to as well...to be honest, I have been attending to the newer ones today as there is a lot of discussions that seem to need immediate attention being started today!

I have been mostly answering newer ones too but I really think I need to work on the older ones...I won't say how old b/c it would shock ppl but let's just say their from before Christmas LOL

On my own discussions, I am caught up, in large part because I start so few of them. As for my friends discussions, I am so far behind that I will never catch up. My friends know (or should know) that I am going to college, and I don't mean to be rude, it is just that odds are that I am drowning in homework. And I definitely respond to old discussions unless they are no longer valid.

Well I'm still behind LOL.
It really just depends on what kind of mood I'm in as to how I catch up.
Usually I either start from the most recent or the first ones in my email.
But this time I've been kind of all over the board. Just picking and choosing. LOL. Just really random. Although I have been trying to get to the daily ones as they come now.

I don't think I will ever catch up. I have over six hundred emails. I do not start a lot of discussions so I do not have that to worry about. I am starting at the beginning and posting to all discussion that are in my email that I am interested in. I do not just post to discussions that my friends start just because they are friends. I have to be interested in what they are saying or asking. I try to do as many post as possible. Usually I watch to make sure it is at least ten. I am going for fifty today since I am so far behind. I also notice that when I post fifty or more I only get one cent each. I find when I post about ten I get almost two cents each. This is my second post today and this discussion is twenty two hours old. I have a long way to go. I wish you luck catching up and I hope I can catch up before the month is out.

I normally just respond like mad, I have a lot of discussions from friends in my e-mail which I'm planning to get down. Once upon a time I'd go through it as quickly as possible, these days I do it in small portions because if they waited this long a few more weeks won't harm.

I like you sign its really cute...I agree your rose is nice for you avatar, i like it...I usually try and stay up on my discussions but sometimes its impossible..Like the last few days mu computer crashed, so when i got it fixed i had so many discussions to answer..I think what you are doing is a good way to catch up.I always start by looking at the discussions that my friends have started..Some of them i simply cannot answer, because it is about sports or something i just cannot add too, then i delete them and go from ther..It takes awhile but finally i can catch up...

I have about 2wks of discussions to catch up with so I know what your going thru, twoey. lol For some odd reason, I've been suffering puter burn-out so haven't even turned my puter on in over 5 days, let alone go thru all my emails. Finally got thru all my emails cept for mylot ones that I left for last being I need to actually think here b4 responding. (my poor brain ugh!!) lol Anyways, I only respond to the ones I feel I can give some input on. Just go thru one at a time over several days till I'm finally caught up and then stay caught up till either I suffer another burn-out or I get super busy with stuff round the house/outside the house.

Oh your sign is really cute! I really hate it when I fall behind, trying to catch up is hard. I usually start with my friends alert list, then work from there. Some days I have more free time than others.

It seems like I can't ever catch up if I fall behind. Not just here either, but with everything, lol. Especially with laundry...ugh!!! I just can't ever seem to make it to the bottom of the basket! Maybe I need to set myself some goals and make my little monsters help out with the laundry so I can get caught up on myLot, ha ha! Awesome sign! Love it!

I think the sign is great. I have been away from Mylot for about 6-8 months but I am back now and have a whole lot of catching up to do with responding and my own discussions too.
I just go down my list and answer all discussions in line as they come. I'm not sure if I will ever get caught up but I am working very hard on it now.

I never seem to be able to catch up when I miss a few days on my sites. Mylot has been put on the back burner with me. I do try to get on at least once a day to respond to discussions. I don't start any anymore because I don't have the time to keep up with all the responses.
I will usually only start them when I have found a fabulous site or idea to share with everyone!

Good job on the sign twoey. It should be the MyLot picture instead of the coffee cup. The coffee cup just makes me want to drink more coffee and I've already had to much today. I'm behind too. I don't think I'll ever get caught up!
