Ive been coughing all day and it feels like theres a tickle in my throat. I just noticed how dusty it is in here.lOL No wonder. So looks like I have some dusting to do. Does dust make you cough or sneeze? And by the way I hate dusting! Do you?

Oh yes, dust bothers me terribly.. whenever I have to clean where my husband keeps his things, sometimes I use a damp handkerchief tied around my face.. I don't really hate dusting, because it is something that needs to be done, and I would rather dust than not be able to breathe..lol

Actually Goodie, the only time it really bothers me is when I am cleaning in an area my husband stuff has been and where the dust can practically be measured..lol But for the main house hole dusting, I kept it down so much, it doesn't have a chance to go everywhere. I use a rag and a feather duster..

Oh yes it does! I always know when there is even a little bit of dus. Luckily, I have someone who does the dusting for me now. But earlier, I had to cover my nose and do it. Or else I go into a coughing fit! Seems like I am allergic to lots of stuff like that.

It does make me sneeze and cough when we have a lot of dust in here. I try to clean my house every weekend though and I do a few things during the week to keep it up. I'm allergic to dust so I have to try to keep everything dusted cause if not I will be sneezing and coughing like crazy.

Wow, lotsa people allergic to dust, as I am too. It's funny, just certain types of dust if that makes any sense, like attic or basement dust, haha. Regular house dust doesn't bother me that much, but if I pull out boxes of stuff to look through, I have to take an allergy pill or I'll get really sick.....weird huh? They say your allergies are from those little critters in the dust called dust mites. Where I work, they get shipments of shoes from China and I don't know if they're stored forever in warehouses or what, but when we get shipments I get a sinus infection immediately. I think it's those little China mites getting to me, hahaha. Yes, I find dusting one of the most tedious jobs and hate it!

Yes it does. I am allergic to dust.I get the sneezy, itchy sometimes a rash reaction. Absolutely no fun.I have actually used wet Swiffers before. To try and cut down on the dust kicking up. That helps a little. That's why yes I hate dusting! And I usually end up taking a Benydryl anyway.

Yes, I cough and get a bit sneezy when dusting. In fact I was just doing so awhile ago and I got the coughing and sneezing. It's crazy when it happens, but at least that tells you how much dust you have in your home.

Yes, dust does make me sneeze and cough. Sometimes the dust gets so thick in this computer room, I can write my name on the end table and dresser...lol I don't mind dusting but it seems like an endless job. We have a cat and dog and think that partially contributes to some of the fuzzies that "hang out" on the furniture.

dust (especially when dusting) makes my eyes burn and water, my nose itch and drip, my throat itch, sneezing is continual - my head throbs adn my lungs rattle. oh augh, I hate dust (said in my most nasal voice) I usually put on a face mask (hospital style mask)

I live on an almost-paved road... dust is my middle name! So I don't feel guilty about it piling up, I go along with the old joke...I've decided that its a protective coating for the furniture!

My problem with sinuses right now is that our neighbors' house burned to the ground last week... I don't know what they had in there, but I've had to live on sinus meds since. They've been cleaning it up over the weekend, so I hope whatever it was that caused the problems is in the bottom of one of those dumpsters that went out of here today!

Makes me sneeze really bad. I have allergic rhinitis. Even if I am not dusting off anything but if the place is dusty, I'm in trouble.

I have the same problem with dust. I just changed the filters on my heater to help filter the air. Winter seems to be the worst time of the year also.

eesh! You just HAD to remind me of the thick layer of dust on my mantle, didn't ya Terry? lol I hate dusting as well but since I've been heating my house mainly by fireplace, I have a very thick layer of dust on the mantle complete with lots of antique lace layered in dust. Guess all the outdoor spiders decided to come in for the winter cause I have more antique lace now than I do all summer.

Dusting has got to be the one chore I hate doing and I confess I'm a bad girl and let it go for awhile until my sinuses remind me I should dust...I'm allergic to dust--in fact I just "broke" down and dusted all my bookcases the other day..
