I like this a lot as you never know if an item is going to sell. I think they might have raised the fee after a buy but its worth it to me. I don't mind paying a small fee if my item has sold. It used to suck when an item didn't sell as those fees add up fast. Ironically I stopped selling/buying on Ebay because of the selling fees so I will be back there now.

i just noticed that they raised the final value fees from 5.25% to 8.25 % SO actually ther are raising the prices not lowering it dang ebay

I also heard that Ebay was RAISING their fees for sellers, not lowering them. I believe I read it on some business site. Before you go back to Ebay, I would suggest you investigate this for yourself so that you don't end up paying more than you did before.

They are cutting listing fees, but final value fees went up drastically. In the end, fees went up...not down. Sad and deceptive. Shame on you Ebay!!

It isn't that great since they are getting it back in the final percent they take. Here is the site telling all the fees... http://pages.ebay.com/sell/update08/basic/index.html You're going to give them more money this way. It's only good for when you want to try new things to sell you don't get hit so hard on the fee for listing when it doesn't sell. And I think that gallery should have always been free. It does increase your chances of selling and it also helps ebay make more money. Ebay makes a killing and then with Paypal too. I'm getting sick of it. I have actually put on my listings that I DO NOT prefer paypal, because of the high cost. I ask people to pay me with money orders but I will take paypal. So many people want to use paypal that you can't sell anything without excepting it. For an item I just had paid for through paypal it was only a little over $11 and they took .63 cents. Thats a lot of money when you add it all up.

They are cutting the insertion fees but increasing the final value costs. There is no overall savings. Infact, mostly it will cost a little more...Typical ebay, give with one hand and take with the other! You always have to read the fine print with these guys.

I really don't like to use Ebay. they are confusing and the fees are wat to high. I usually do alot of my online shopping at Amazon.com. I hear about to many fraud scams with Ebay from sellers there.

They are cutting the listing fees but the final value fees when the item sells is going up especially for things that sell for under $25 so I will not be listing anything on ebay.
