Where do I Promote My Blogs?

I have a couple of blogs & have never really done much to promote them.
Once, I tried to submit one blog to the blog section on My Lot, but I never found out what happened to it?
So I have two questions for those interested in blogs.
How do I submit my blog()s) in the My Lot section?
How & where else do people submit their blogs (preferably for free)?

Please do not listen to people who even suggested using traffic exchanges....These sort of traffic are what we call "fake" traffic...and they don't last...
A real blog does not need to rely on such "fake" traffic, especially when you have to put in so much time and effort to get this sort of traffic.....If your blog content itself is good, it will attract visitors to read......
You can trade links with other blogs who share the same content....and also submit your blog to blog directories...But most importantly, you should update your blog regularly with good content that will attract people...When you have done that, you will see that traffic will start improving...

I'm not really talking about traffic exchanges. I am talking about BLOG traffic exchanges. These are where you find other bloggers who will come back to visit you, link to you and stay loyal. It's not of course, the only way to get readers. But here is where I found mine. The directories are also a good source and the best will always be, content, content, content. But don't knock the BLOG traffic sites.
