Happy Valentine's Day everyone. Here's a cute question for you. Do you know the meaning of your name? Were you named after someone famous or infamous? Does your name characterize you? Kurt Cobaine, the tragic grunge-guitar-playing front man of Nirvana, said about his baby girl when she popped out: "She looks like a bean!" Thus the name, Francis Bean Cobaine. Too cute. So does your name have a story?

That's awesome! God is gracious. Most excellent name. Yeah, my middle name is also my aunt's middle name. I was born on her birthday. Go figure.

If i remember correctly it was that she looked like a little red bean. I don't have a neat reason for being my name. It's just my name. I was born with it.

Yep, you are right it was "like a little red bean." I'm glad they left out Red in her name. Though I guess it could work. I believe most people will say that's it's just their name. But maybe parents had a reason for the names they chose and they never told their kids. You never know.

My mom was at work and heard a woman call her daughter Rachel while she was pregnant with me (she worked in a bank). She was like "that's a nice name". She suggested it to my dad and he said "that's what we're calling her if she's a girl" that's the story. It's not neat.

My current name has a story behind it but it's not a cute story..lol My birth name was very different. I was adopted and my name was changed. Am content with my name now and guess I better be since it's been with me for a very long time. My middle birth name was good but like my middle name now even better. See, it's not a cute story but it's all true. Happy Valentine's Day. carolbee

My correct name is Jennifer. As far as I know it means "white wave". I wasn't named after anyone, that I know of. My Mother just liked it.

Mine does not have much meaning except a queen. IN my native languege the name queen is written as mine hence my name. I am my father's queen.
