That depends on where you place christianity. If you place christianity as a religion, then the answer is no. All religions are more or less about humans struggle to reach God, but Christianity is about God reaching humans. If you se christianity as a relationship instead of religion, that means that the answer is yes. As i stated above, all religion is more or less about humans struggle to reach god. Christianity not being a religion, as it puts the main focus on the believers relationship with God and his son, Jesus Christ.

this is a very sensitive question as all people who are religious will say that there religion is the right one, and when you say that automatically it means that the other religions are not equal.

No. All religions are not equal.Reasons: Some religions believe in God, some do not. Some allow only one wife, but at least one do not. Some are monotheistic, others not. Anyone who studies even just two major religions will come to know that all religions are not equal.

Hmm....i dont think that all religions are equal...well but all the religions have some good or he other it has to offer...but the way that has the freeing of us by the truth will only lead us..i mean something in which we can relate humainty and justice, a view for purpose of this life and our creator's love for us ...something that teaches values and equality...no war or voilence...well something really good....salvation by God through jesus....

As a Baha'i, I believe all the major world religions founded by manifestations of God are equal. This includes Zoroastrianism, Judiasm, Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Babism, and the Baha'i Faith. I do not believe that religions founded by humans such as paganism are equal to the religions created by God. However, this does not imply that followers of human-founded are any lesser than followers of God-founded religions. All people are equal and have their own path that the must follow. I do not agree with the doctrine of human-founded religions, however, to each their own, I would never attempt to convert them or look down on them in any way. Each person must find God in their own way, I have no power over such matters.

For me all religions are equal.I think we humans are creating all problems and making religion as a weapon to gain something.

I do believe that all religions are equal and like the first responder said, its PEOPLE that are the issue, not the religions themselves...

Religions, as philosophical constructs, are, almost all, inherrently NOT equal. Almost every religion, when thoroughly embraced, will proclaim itself superior to any other religion (Note the "Christian" responses above, especially the one elevating itself above religion altogether!) The problem is: religion is personal, individual. Individuals should be born inherently EQUAL. If that were the case, religions would be equal. Therefore the very nature of groups and individuals claiming superiority over one another is evidence of the inequality in religion. We may wish it were not the case, but the only way religions could be considered equal is if they are all equally wrong.
