You are in a room........

I guess with the tv and internet its not too difficult to spend 24 hours. I myself have spent 3 days like this but have gone outside for food. Other than that i did not contact any friends. I had the newspaper and i checked out TV guide to check whats good on TV, got tired of watchig after 3 hours. Went online, chatted and blogged. Then in the evening i exercised a little in the same room. Then only thing is that you will get a little bored. But its managable if you are not an outgoing person. Try it out. Have a nice day.

Hello deepak! Well, now doubt I will open the internet to talk to my husband online. That's what I usually do here. I am in my room, and I am either talk to my husband, prepare something to eat, and participate here in mylot.

Wow! Sounds like a dream holiday of mine! T.V would hardly be used (I'm not a T.V. buff). I'd read as much as I can (with music playing in the background). And when I was tired of reading, I would go use the computer and browse around, check my mails....and mylot...lol. I would also spend some time in sleeping. Food isn't really necessary...so I wouldn't worry about that aspect...but I might get thirsty. I can't cut off each hour and tell you what I'd do because when I am reading or on the net, I have no clue of the time...and nothing can stop me till I am tired.

its a really very imaginative situation. may be i will watch some news on tv say for 1 hr max. I will spend time on internet checking mails, mylotting for a larger time, say 6-7 hours. I can post a lot then. . then i will slepp and also take bath etc. it will not be that much bad. i can read books also.

LOL deepak all i can say that i will use all the available things and enjoy them i will put the music on and read some book while lying on my bed, i miss them and usually dont get time watch some movies spend time on internet and communicate with them sleep with peace with light music o and night light on u see with all this facility spending 24 hours is not a big deal specially if u r looking from break from hectic routine and hey i am sure we also have fridge in room filled with food and drinks?? Right U dont want us ro Starve??? infect why dont u make it home alone raher then LOCKED in Roon wink wink Byee

Sitting alone in a room with books, magazines and a computer with internet connection is not at all difficult for me. I would first have a nice warm bath and then put on the computer. May be put on the music too. The TV would not be of any use if the computer is there. I would spend the entire time on the computer either mylotting or reading and writing on Associated Contents. May be if I got a bit tired in between I would read some magazines in between.

oh geee, i don't want to get out from those room if everything that i like is in the room. by having internet connection, although i don't go out from that room, i am able to know whats going on outside and i think still i can communicate which other cause there is mylot (my wonderful forum) and any messenger tools, so why i could not communicate which other? another thing, i have music player to relax and also television to see my favourite program. i really don't mind to be locked on those room, LOL. 24 hours would not be long lasting period to get locked cause many things that i can do on those room and mostly i spending more about 15 hours in internet so what else that i should ask? hehehehe, nice discussion my friend

Thought I'd dig aup an old discussion from your Kitty. The things you have mentioned are everyday items. The only thing missing is people, and we can do without them for a day. It would be a ususal day for me. Reading, watching TV, listening to some music and reflecting.

That is a very easy one for me. I would spend all of my time on the internet. I would work those hours and see how much money I could nake. I usually work 15-16 hours per day anyway. I really do not have any company either. I may turn the television on also if there is something on that I would like to watch while working.

If that's the case there's no problem with I'm a homebody person, I love to go out with friends but not that much. Maybe I will enjoy reading books at the same time listening to the music, I will do myloting I will chat with my friends online, I will watch tv after I goto sleep. Maybe I can lived there for almost a week as long as my necessary things are complete.

That's not so difficult for me. After all, it's 24 hours only. It's so easy to kill the time as I have so many entertainment. I can spend a few hours reading books and magazines. And I will turn on the music when I am getting online. I can play a few hours computer game. And the surf net for a few hours. And I will get to sleep for the rest time. What a nice day!

I would probably sleep and read. I would catch up on my sleep. Then I would get up and take a shower, probably shave my legs which since it is that time of the week again. LOL! I might color my hair since I am about due to do that too. So, I would spend about an hour and a half pampering myself. I never take baths but, I might consider that. However, given that I just get a little grossed out at sitting in a tub of my own filth in an effort to relax is counterintuitive for me! LOL! So, once I was done pampering myself, I would actually be perfectly content to read for the rest of the day. I love to read and I have some catching up to do since finding myLot. I have about 2 months worth of magazines that have built up and about 8 new books sitting on my book shelf with one that I am maybe only a quarter of the way through. Now, since you said that we can not communicate with others, even though there is a computer in the room that is connected to the internet, I would refrain from using it as that sounds like it would be a rule breaker. I am hoping that there is food provided as I would get hungry inside of those 24 hours. But, if not...I would probably sleep even longer so that I wouldn't notice the hunger.

You can take back the magazines, the music player and the TV. I don't need them but I do need a radio, or I can listen online, and I would be quite happy to read, listen to the radio and do activities on the computer, sleep and then I would need to go out and get some food

i will play online games for 4 hours while listening to music. and after that i will watch some movies, maybe HBO or cinemax, that is five hours. then the next five hours will be internet surfing then i will go to sleep.

From 7 Am a little music till my breakfast at 8 am.I will come to the computer and browse till One o clock.I will have my lunch and read the magszines and books and doze off a little.I will start with my computer agasin till evening 6 o clock.I wll relax with music and books up to 8 pm.Then I will browse may be up to 11 clock and go to bed to get up 6.30 in the morning which is the my daily wake up time and listen to music till seven.

HI DEEPAK, You have given so many options so why should it be difficult to spend 24 hours. The biggest entertainer, the Internet the great is available them who is going to feel boring...I think I will take full advantage of this and answer as many discussion on mylot as I can. then if I feel tired I can watch TV or listen to music and when my mind is fresh again, I can go back to Internet again.....and if I find some old friend for chatting, then I will not even know when did 24 hours got over.......lol. If you would not have given the option of Internet, then may be I would go to sleep soon.........lol

I can survive. You told me i have internet i can use yahoo messenger to contact my friends. If i have computer and access with internet i can do mylot for 24 hours. It is an opportunity for me.If i have a player and TV this is much more enjoyable on my part. I can do hear music while watching tv. Can i bring food with me? LOL.

i would switch on all the electronic gadgets especially the tv and the computer wouldnt even dare to touch the books and magazines...i think a computer with internet and the TV is sufficient for me to spend 24 hours i wish you could add some gyming tools as well like a walker or cross trainer or a bicyccle...would have had been great fun to survive for 24 hours... listen one nmore important thing what about the food you want us to starve kya?

Are we allowed to take bathroom breaks? Haha, I had to ask. If I have a computer with the internet, I would probably focus all of my attention on that, writing like a madman for my sites and articles and catching up on all the things I want to do but can't since I have to do things like feed and bathe and play with my children, lol.

If there is Internet then we can communicate with our friends.I think it will not be very difficult to be in a room for a day. If I am in a condition as you said,then I will watch movies,hear songs,chatting,spend with mylot...The time of twenty four hours will not be enough to do all these.Thanks
