Which Would You Choose.....

Shopping Spree Or Hawaiian Vacation? - This shows my choice of a shopping spree...

A One Million Dollar shopping spree or a Hawaiian vacation? Why? For me, this would be a tough choice because with the shopping spree you could have things that last. Of course, with the vacation you could have memories of a lifetime that last. So, this still leaves me with the dilemma of what I would choose if I had these options, hmmm.... I guess I would choose the shopping spree because I love to shop and I would love to get a whole new wardrobe and things for my apartment and whatever. I could save for the vacation later;-P What about you all, what would you choose if you had these two options to choose from and why would you choose it?

Shopping spree for me hands down. Who says you can't purchase a vacation with some of the money from your million dollar shopping spree. Plus, my husband and I have been to Hawaii and we were not that impressed. It will be long time before we would go back there if we ever do.

It was beautiful but also very expensive and took some extensive traveling to get there from where we live. I have been to many place in Mexico that are just as beautiful, less expensive and take much less time to get there. It just wasn't our atmosphere. We like to stay out late and enjoy more of a night life and where we were in Hawaii everything closed by 11:00. It was disappointing to us. We were there for 10 days and we were ready to go home after about 5.

Oh really? You all were not very impressed with Hawaii? I have never been there but it seems so exotic and beautiful there but I would still have to put off the vacation and take the shopping spree ;-P

Shoppping spree for definate, I never fancied Hawaii anyway!! Gosh the things I could buy, I would go on the biggest shop ever for clothes for all my kids, me and hubby. We never have any money spare to have clothes shopping sprees and so it would just be so exciting, I have a daughter, she is my only girl out of 3 boys and the amount of gorgeous little girls clothes there is, I would have a field day, she would have everything!! I would decorate the whole house, our bedroom first, as it is so dull and miserable, I would make it fresh and happy!! I would just be out for a week solid shopping.

Man, don't you wish these choices were for real. I'm like you, my hubby and I never have extra money to buy clothes or things for the house and so it would be so great if these choices were for real :-(

I would take the shopping spree and send a dollar of the million and the rest of the money would go into a savings account for old age. I do not need bling and things to bring me comfort. Having a money in the bank is the greatest gift of them all

I would go for Hawaiin vacation with my partner. I feel for me enjoyment is more important than accumlating 'material things', things could be added later once I am back from my dream vacation.

I would choose the shopping spree over the vacation. Although Hawaii would be pretty tempting I don't have any interest in traveling and even though I don't like to shop the shopping spree would be more practical for my family. Oh the things I could buy for my husband and kids if I really had a million dollar shopping spree!

The million dollar shopping spree is what I would choose! I bet I would have some really great memories spending all that money anyway! You could take a bunch of vacations with a million dollars! If I had a million dollars to spend, saving for a vacation later wouldn't be a problem. We would have no bills; just cash flow.

Well, if you chose the million dollar shopping spree you would not be able to save it, you would have to spend it.

I think I would have to go with the shopping spree as well. One of my shops might be at a travel agents though! I don't even know if I could spend $1 million dollars at once. New car, house, furniture, clothes, toys for hubby and kids, toys for me (sewing machine, big jumbo economy sized washer and dryer). I would have to buy some land and build a big storage building to store all the stuff I was buying. The motorcycle guys would love me -- I think I would buy 4 wheelers and snowmobiles for the whole family - and for the kids now and later - so that's like 6 or 8 of each. Maybe a Harley, I always wanted a Harley. That's still not even close to $1 million dollars. I could still build a new house on my land with the storage building full of stuff, and furnish it, and probably replace my inlaws trailer, and buy a few goats (lawn mowers). Ah Ha!! I got it -- I'd use what was left to buy a time share and airline miles!!! Then you'd have many vacations!

I would choose the shopping spree. With it I can buy lots of things and upgrade the things in my house, or even start a small business with the things I have bought. That's really a lot of money...wow! I hope it doesn't prohibit shopping in other countries too . That way, I can shop and have a little vacation too. .

Give me my one million dollars! LOL. I'd choose the shopping spree over the Hawaiian vacation. I desperately need to change my wardrobe, buy a new digicam, buy new shoes, bags, perfume, everything!! And at least I can get to see solid proof that I had a million dollars once to splurge instead of the vacation. I'll just save up for it some other time. Cheers!

If you had a million dollars to shop with you could really cover all sorts of needs and that would be more fun for me than a Hawaiian vacation. You could probablyscrape up enough money for the zHawaiian vacation after your shopping spree so I would take the million dollars in a flash.

For me, I would take the one million dollar shopping spree. I will spend it on buying stuffs that I need and want. All the nicest things that I have been wishing for. It is going to be one of the greatest thing that could happen to me since I love to shop and get hold of what I want. A vacation can give you a lasting memories but sometimes when its over you feel like its done and that you have nothing there to hold on materially, just the memories that is left in your mind and hearts.

Yes, I agree. Once teh vacation is over, it's over! Then you're left with nothing much but a bunch of pics. Of course, I guess you could buy stuff in Hawaii to take back with you but still...
