I know all of the liberal democrats here on MyLot are going to complain today about my "attacks" on their favorite son, Barack Obama. I can only say that their party has brought this down upon them! I do not have $40 million to spend on a smear campaign like the democrats and David Brock do but will do what I can to counter their campaign! If you haven't read about this it is here: http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20080410/pl_politico/9514 I now bring before you my latest in a series of articles that portray Barack Obama as the "not exactly" like he says it candidate! http://www.johntreed.com/Obama.html Again, the democrats have brought this on themselves!

The smear campaign by wealthy democrats against McCain is just the beginning... where MoveOn is a liberal activist group, Progressive Media USA is going to be the liberal propaganda machine. I think we can safely say this is to be a vast left wing conspiracy to hide the truth and trash conservatives... just like MoveOn has been doing since it was founded. I would say that McCain's desire to run a clean campaign is going to have to be trashed, because we now know that the democrats are going to run a smear campaign consisting of half-truths, outright lies, and character assassination.... in other words the same thing they have been dong to Bush ever since he won and the lost. The liberals are not interested in truth, they are only interested in whatever lies and propaganda they can put out in order to achieve their socialist agenda for America. As to Obama.... the linked article is quite informative and serves to expose his lies and half truths quite well. He is just as dishonest and empty as Hillary is when she describes her harrowing experiences of landing under sniper fire during a time of peace. So what we have are two exposed liars and a liberal propaganda machine gearing up to try and smear McCain and conservatives in general in order to influence public awareness and opinion away from the lying democrats. This should show how low the liberals will stoop in order to further their socialist agenda in the destruction of America for their own power hungry ends.

Hopefully the conservatives can convince enough people who are independants and on the fence first time voters that Obama doesn't even know how to spell change much less envoke it and Hillary will bankrupt this country if she gets Hillarycare passed.

I don't agree with your statement as I read the first article it clearly stated that Brock was a supporter of Hillary Clinton so how did you relate it to Obama. And as for the other article the writer sounds like a very angry individual who seems to be jealous of his upbringing. And if you are going to post such things then you should be truthful with your post because McCain and Clinton have spent millions on smear campaigns and have clearly lied about several things. And aren't they all trying to do something to get the black vote isn't that why McCain and Clinton made an appearance at the tribute to Martin L. King. McCain apologizing for voting against his holiday and Clinton remembering that day like it was yesterday. I agree with one thing in the second article and that is Obama has had some privileges that most blacks have not and that is the upbringing of a white family but that was not his choice nor his fault of his heritage those were the choices of his parents. And Mr. Treed was also wrong in his statement that he is white, because by our own society he is deemed black whether he was raised or birthed by a white parent. It is wrong for a person clearly of two races labeled as one, it seems he is damned if do and damned if he doesn't, what would you have him do denounce one side for the other as society does wouldn't that really make him a hypocrite. Several blacks of mixed race don't see or grow up with their black parent so does that make them only one race. Blacks don't see him as God please don't insult us we are intelligent people, what we see is hope for a change in society, hope for our children to dream, hope that bigotry and racism might one day actually be gone and for all people to be equally, but as I read this discussion and those articles I see it won't happen in my lifetime. And for the record I don't see you mentioning the smear campaigning by Clinton and McCain.

Being rich doesn't escape you from being black or experiencing racism we no nothing about whether his father's family may have told him or what his mother may have told him about his father wishes or desires and growing up with money didn't mean he did not experience racism, he just didn't experience poverty and poverty doesn't equal being BLACK!

He is not our only hope, but he does symbolize change in America. May I ask do you personally know him to pass such judgment of him as you stated you have no idea what it is to black.

I never attributed the first story to Obama, it just so happens he is a democrat and the democrats are the one pushing a 40 million dollar smear campaign against McCain. Believe me, before August and the Democratic National Convention I will do plenty against Hillary too! This is just the beginning. As far as the second one, it is kind of hard to dispute when you were born and even if the author didn't know what Obama's father felt or did, guess what? Neither did Obama, yet he had the audacity to write about his dreams! To address your last statement; if blacks see this man as their hope for change then they really need more help than can be given them! He is using the historical plight of the American black race as a stepping stone to the Whitehouse and nothing more! He knows no more about what a black person has endured in a racially predjudiced scociety than I do. He grew up rich and privelidged! He is rich NOW!

Rodney my friend please take care. I do agree that Obama is a big hypocrite, and a bigger liar, but for whatever reason their are a growing group of people that do not see it that way. It almost seem that when Obama speecks it must be true, no matter what evidence you throw at them. I remember a week back or so their was a person that wrote a discussion that all the lies about Obama had been debunked. No matter what anyone said the Obamites all said with one accord that Obama was correct and we where wrong. When you mess with someone God tread carefully.

Please explain to me why you think he is a bigger hypocrite and liar then any of the other candidates and I hope you are not basing you answer on these two articles. Neither of which show any facts of you accusations, and it is not true that no matter what evidence you throw we will not believe. The first article doesn't state Brock as an Obama supporter he clearly states he is a Clinton supporter so why do you think it is Obama smear campaign. The second article is one man's opinion because that man can not say what Obama's father or grandfather felt thought or otherwise he has no idea when he last saw his father or what his father's family told him. He has no idea how he lived he may have went to Ivy league schools and had a family with privileges but when you see him, his classmates saw him, society all saw him as a black man. He may have had a white family but he was still looked at as black, he still read the signs Colored and Whites only it did give him a free ticket he wouldn't been able to drink from the he white fountain. And he is not our God, his is a man. The sensationalism of this article is unbelievable, a child of the sixties as well as a child here and now still experiences racism so no he is not white regardless of his mother and grandparents because it is clear from this discussion that when you see him you see a black man.

Gewcew, I believe Billionare proves your point! I know that no matter how many FACTS you throw at these people, Obama has them so mesmerized he could tell them the sun will come up in the west tomorrow and they would believe him!

Those two articles are infuriating to me. It appears that David Brock is not loyal to any political party but simply works for the highest bidder. Also, I can hardly believe how gullible the American public has become to allow someone like Barak Hussein Obama to pull the wool over their eyes to the extent that he already has. It's alarming to know that black voters are actually being made to feel guilty if they don't vote for him, like it would be betraying their race to vote otherwise. I can only say that I am putting a lot of prayer into this predidential race, and God have mercy on America!

One we are not being made to feel guilty and we are not voting for him because he is black and all blacks are not voting for him. And your prayers are miss guided America is already in a serious crisis with the current president who happens to be white. Please tell me why we have to be gullible to vote for Senator Obama more so then for Bush who has totally destroyed the economy and has us in a war that are killing our children and robbing our economy. Your prayers so be for narrow minded people with comments such as your based on an article of one man's opinion.

I have seen the news reports about emails being circulated that are accusing black voters of being un-American and of being against their race if they don't vote Obama. I know a lot of black voters aren't voting for him, but the guilt tactics that are being used to try and influence voters is just another example of the kinds of things that are going on in the Obama camp to win him the election. I'm sorry if you don't believe in prayer, but I can honestly say that I want God's will done in this election and for America in general, and if God wants to change my mind about who to vote for I am open to change.

..it's not race.. male or female.. and I believe both parties mean well. But the thing about George Soros and his move on dot org, is he is a total socialist. He is also from outside of our country. If anyone thinks monitoring calls to and from terrorists outside the country is bad, just wait til the country becomes socialist.. Instead of Father Stalin, will it be Father Soros? Or company?

In all fairness I didn't see anything that showed Obama being closely associated with Brock. I might have missed it, but the closest thing I saw was that the guy spoke with Daschel and Daschel is friends with Obama. I already know Tom Daschel is an a$$ and he's always been big on smear campaigns. I do believe Obama is all for the smear crap, I just don't think you'll find any direct lines leading to him because his campaign managers are keeping everything under the table to make him seem all nice and innocent.

Since he is leading and is already assuming the nomination is in the bag I am assuming this smear campaign is essentially going to benefit him the most but do not be dismayed, I will definitely get around to Hillary!

Why not, why isn't America ready he could do no worst than what we have now. Bush has already put us in a senseless war and 522 billion dollars in debt. What does his color got to do with him being president.

I'm not going to complain about your attacks, you can call every Democrat that exists all the names you want to call them, you can post whatever links you want to for articles written by totally biased writers, you can quote all the right-wing talk show hosts of the world but the fact remains the people of this country are sick and tired of the current Administration and the direction we're headed in and the last thing they want is an old man who seems to be losing it in the White House to continue all the failed policies that got us into the rotten shape we're in right now. By the way, I'm sure you're a fan of Colin Powell; maybe you're interested in some of what he had to say about Obama: http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Vote2008/story?id=4622268&page=1 Annie

Annie, This is not an attack on democrats as people but an attack on a party that employs the services of a political hit man to do their dirty work. Everything in that second article is true whether you choose to believe it or not. Obama did say those things in Selma and yet he was born several years earlier than the actual march. Obama WAS raised in a racially neutral environment and in a rich and privelidged home and attended a rich private school so tell me, just how does that qualify him as a victim of a racially biased scociety? America doesn't want an "old man" as their leader and yet he continues to gain in the polls, MAGIC!

Personally, I'd like to see the political parties done away with and have individuals run for offices with their own views and not political ones. The bi-partisan thing is getting just as old as religious dogma. There just isn't any difference between the two (political party and dogma). You'd be amazed just how many people treat them as if they were the exact same thing.

Hi Rodney! I posted on a discussion a few days ago How blinded people are to Obama and do act like he isn't able to do anything wrong..why they would feel this way is because Politicians are just that.. there to see who will follow them like the person who blew the flute to scare the rats from the city..we don't have much choice on who to vote for, but at least the one thats in now will be GONE!
