In between housework and being on here I have been out playing with my son blowing bubbles, big ones, small ones, double ones, ones we missed, ones we popped, oh what fun we had. Thought I'd post and share the fun as one of my discussions was a bit heavier earlier. What fun things have you done today? Ellie :D

oh yes, I loved blowing bubbles it was so much fun as a child, I also loved my little cutout dolls and dressing them in their paper outfits, I loved making snow angels in the snow, and I loved wishing on a star.

Oh cut out dolls and clothes I remember them too and also used to spend hours playing with them. I have never done a snow angel as in UK where I live it is very rare we have snow deep enough to do that in. Thanks for sharing. Ellie :D

That's really cool. Lately, I've been having fun watching cartoons. That's really an interesting thing to do. The cartoons I enjoy now include: The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Spongebob, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes and so many others. Nice topic!

Oh as a mum of a little one I get to do the cartoons too. Love 'Cars' and I try to choose ones I will enjoy too. We watched Ice Age the other day too. I watch Sponge Bob as my older daughter likes it. I don't think we ever really grow out of these things it is just expected that we don't play as much as we get older, but I enjoy laughter its healthy especially when other stuff is going on in your life its helps relieve it all eh! Thank you so much for sharing and pleased you think this is a good topic. Keep enjoying the cartoons. Ellie :D

I used to love to blow bubbles with that soapy water also. I have not done that in years. I love to fly a kite also but have not had a chance to do that either. I don't have any bubbles to blow or a kite to fly right now. That is a good idea.

I have lots of life stuff going on at the moment and find the way I deal with these is to take some time out and have some fun blowing bubbles or feeding the ducks. It puts the laughter back in. Go blow some bubbles you'll really enjoy. Ellie :D

Bubbles are such fun. I think I've got some somewhere around here -- I would've enjoyed them today cuz I didn't have fun. I slept a lot!

Does sticking my tongue out at a posters response to something count? thats a Kid thing and much better than posting a flaming response to another persons ill natured response. also a kid thing I love is chewing bubble gum and blowing bubbles at my age senior citizen.

oh you reminded me of my guy who is out of country presently!me and him would do that a lot.we would get bubble machines, they are really cool toys sort of thing in which you already have the solution where you blow the bubbles from and we would blow them on for hours and the playing with them, blowing on them and trying to touch them too.we would even try to see the shade of color that comes in them as a result of reflection.what fun we had!!!

I haven't done anything fun yet today but I do love to blow bubbles. The other day I was thinking about buying a kite to fly. Kids have all the fun.

Yes blowing bubbles is fun, oh go get a kite and have a fly I used to love to do that to when I was a child but I think my dad enjoyed it more as I very rarely got to have a go once he got his hands on it. Thanks for sharing. Ellie :D

We both loved it, when you think of all the expensive toys they get and yet they have more fun with feeding the ducks or blowing bubbles which cost nothing really in comparison but those moments mean so much more eh! Thanks for sharing your fun day of bubbles with your daughter and grandaughter. Ellie :D

i love blowing bubbles with my kids now and when they were younger (my 11 year old still loves it) and we like it so much that we have bought an electric bubble blower and a sword one that blows huge bubbles... another thing we like to do is play legos!

Oh I had a sword one, great fun, it makes the bubbles extra big, my son got a spider man battery operated one for his birthday but doesn't work that well so today we have just been bl*wing bubbles and having fun the conventional way with a standard wand. Thanks for sharing. Reason for asterix is they wouldn't let me post because of content, unbelievable when I see some of the posts on here, try again. Ellie:D

I love childish things. Well I am a man (aged about 12). I have done nothing "fun" today. But yesterday I played Peepo with a baby in the trolley in front of me at the checkout. I was holding a pound of mince. Every time I put my hands over my face I whacked myself with the meat. Made the baby laugh though. I just got a red face!

Oh no I agree paperwork of any kind is never fun, but as long as you usually make time for doing something a little bit crazy once in a while thats ok. Kids have less stress cos they laugh more. Bubble blowing was definately good fun. Ellie :D
