How do you take your bath?

The way people take bath differs from country to country. Here, we like to take a shower or use a pail of water to bath. Do you prefer taking a shower or do you like to soak yourself in a bathtub? I like to take a shower because it is more refreshing and I feel cleaner. What about you? Any preference?

I agree with you. I used to bath using pail of water. The only setback is that I need to save water in the pail first before I can take my bath.

Hmmm... that sound really relaxing. A slow music will be much more soothing.

I always have a shower. Some people like long showers, but we are limited to three minutes due to water retsrictions.

Oh my, what is the water restrictions for? Three minutes is a very short time to shower. If you exceeded 3 minutes, what will happen?

in our country mainly people take bath in shower or bucket full of water. at home we mainly take bath in bucket. we still have showers. its not that people do not use bathub. but here mainly rich people can afford to put that at bathrooms.

I used to take bath with bucket full of water. That was when the water pressure was very low. Actually using bucket full of water is more economical as compared to using shower. This is because we tend to let the water flow while cleaning ourselves, and we don't realize how much we have wasted the water.

We have two showes and two baths in our apartment. When we were living in Samoa, we had an indoor shower and an outdoor one. If the water was low, then we would use a bucket and wash that way. When it rained we had big containers to catch the water and use that for many things. I often showered in the rain also.

Under the shower head lol. I have a bath tub (spoiled jacuzzi actually) but I seldom soak in it. I just spray myself with the shower head and/or stand under it. Cheers!

Why won't you use the bathtub? Are you sure you just stand under your shower head? lol. Anyway, nice to see you here, lordwarwizard.

Definitely a shower. I feel like I would be leaving all the dirty stuff that needed to be washed off into the bath. Then I would be bathing in dirty water. Yuck. In the desert we get really dusty and I always find bugs in my hair. Okay, got to go take a shower now.

Hello Ellie, When I have time I like to bath as it is more relaxing to me but most of the time I just take a shower. I guess showeres are more refreshing but bathing is more relaxing (for me anyway). Take care, Terry

Shower , yes shower is what i am used to right from my childhood. Well if i can get a chance to use a tub then i will for sure prefer a tub. Relax and listen to music floating on the soap foamed water and get rid of the tiredness. I guess thats a nice way of relaxing and taking bath. Warm water would be a better choice.

Me I prefer to take a shower rather in a tub. I can easily soak my body while the water runs to mine. Tub to make me feel relax when I want to but since after tub I will take a shower again.

I take a bath by taking a shower. I rarely used some basin and a plain. I only used this when the water pressure is low and cant reach in out water tank.

I definitely prefer to shower. I only take a bath if I need to relax my muscles and such. Its not a good thing for women to soak in tubs anyways. Showers are the much more sanitary way to go.

Showering not only make you clean, it can also make you feel very refreshing. Why is soaking in tubs not good for women?

Most people in my country uses a pail of water to bath, we use a tabo. :D Only those who can really afford, mostly rich or above average, uses a bathtub.
