Odd encounters

This morning I went to Burger King to get a breakfast sandwich. The guy at the window remembered me from a couple months ago when I came there two days in a row. I think he remembered me because as he greeted me this morning he commented on how I knew more about baseball than he did, and asked where I'd been.
So he's talking to me about all this sports stuff and people are in line behind me. He's the one taking the orders, and he just keeps talking. Finally I pointed out that there are people in line behind me, and he's like, yeah I know. But...and keeps talking!
Finally I said I just had to go. That was quite a weird encounter. He looks and seems normal, lol. I think I must be the only one he 'knows' who he can talk about baseball with. Have you had an odd encounter lately?

LOL I seem to attract odd! It doesn't seem to matter where I go I will always have someone tell me their life story within minutes, perhaps I look like a good listener. It may be unusual for a women to enjoy a conversation about baseball and so he enjoys chatting but to the detriment of the other customers, bless. Ellie :D

A crush and or no friends in his life is possible. It is sweet though. No really odd encounters for me along these lines.

I have odd encounters all of the time. I let people know my likes, dislikes and tastes and how I am, but it just goes in one ear and out the other. Most people I have met, tell me all about themselves and want me to do everything they like to do. They don't care to make it an even situation. they also make me feel odd when they want me to do or speak about something, that they know I do not like.

Too bad if someone in the line behind you was a mystery shopper! lol. That would serve him right.
I reckon this young man has a crush on you! lol. You must have made a very good impression the first time you saw him!
