APPLES - do you eat it CUT or WHOLE?

It was fruit time. My mother would prepare plates of cut fruits for each and everyone of us to make sure we finish the fruits. However, there would be 2 plates left everytime. My 2 nieces would not touch the cut fruits even though they request for apples AND they get their apples. I eat my apple whole and guess what.... They could come to me and take a bite of it. It often ended up me holding an apple for them while they each take a bite on one side of the apple. Friends, when you eat your fruits, do you prefer it cut or do you prefer to eat it whole?

Geez, then your Mum should get the hint LOL. For apples (my discipline has slacked regarding fruits), I normally cut them into pieces then put them on a plate. Then I would bring along a fork and munch munch munch. Sometimes I am too lazy so I just hold and munch it straight. And ekk! You are such a devious person! Training the kids to like your saliva!!

My mum still believe that little kids should take fruits cut into bite sizes instead of biting them whole. Any hey... I am more afraid of their saliva. HMFD is on the rise. btw, I did not get to eat the fruit after one mouthful. They polish it all.

hi whyaskq! i usually cut the apples first before eating them. its seems kinda messy to eat them just by biting it. but sometimes when there's no knife around and i really want to eat the apple, i would start biting. i remember i once ate an apple by biting when i was in a bus going home. there was a guy who was selling apples who climbed up the boss and sold his apples to the passengers. they looked tasty so i bought one and eat it.

I prefer to cut them. I think it came from the time I used to cut the apple like fries for my kids:) it used to be the only way they would eat apples for some time and I got so used to do it for them that I also got in the habit of doing it for myself as well :) I will occasionally eat the apple whole, but when I have the chance I cute it.
