No, not THAT kind.
I usually keep a bag of Hershey Kisses in the fridge and grab one or two when I'm passing through the kitchen. A lot of times I'll end up with the little paper tag either on the floor or in my mouth.
Which leads me to the question ...
Why do they have that stupid little paper tag anyway? I know it's probably a trademark item for them by now, but I never use the silly thing to open mine, and I just find it annoying.
So, how about you? Do you like Kisses? Am I the only one that is annoyed by that little paper?

I really don't know why they still have it. And I really don't remember whether I use it to open it. But those hershey kisses sure taste good. I bought a lot of them in bags and I especially liked the caramel ones. But I haven't bought a bag in a long time. I sometimes do get a little annoyed by the little paper.

I especially hate it when I end up with it in my mouth! I'll be trying to savor that wonderful little bit of chocolate and then blah, the paper!

LOL. That happens to me most of the time. I'm so busy doing something else that I don't even look down when I am unwrapping the paper and I end up chewing the paper too.

Since the paper is so lightweight, if it doesn't stick to my lip as I'm putting it in my mouth, it just floats to the floor.
And then I've left evidence - yikes!

I love Hershey kisses. No the little paper doesn't bother me, of course I've never really given much thought to it, it's just there.

I hadn't thought about how annoying that paper is until you pointed it out! It sure does get in the way! I suppose it is what you say, it has become a trademark and it probably wouldn't seem like a real kiss without it. I stay away from them though. If I start eating one, I just cannot stop. I know they have a lot of different varieties now, but the old-fashioned plain chocolate is still the best for me.

I still like the regular chocolate kisses too. If I wanted something other than just plain chocolate, there are enough other things out there I could choose from.

I love chocolate kisses and the tag is sort of
annoying too. I usually getit in my teeth.lol
I like the idea of keepingthem in the fridge as
that way they say crisp and not all gooey. I also
put dark chocolate bars in the fridge. I like the
bittersweet taste of them so much.

I love all chocolate, and if it were in front of me, it wouldn't be there long!
I try to restrict myself to two of them when I open the fridge, but it doesn't help if I open it many times a day.

you mean the little paper was never meant to be eaten? that expalins why i don't enjoy hershey's kisses as much. lol!!! i love kisses and i never really paid any attention to that little piece of paper.

i like hershey's kisses, too. especially the one with almonds. i did a research of my own regarding that piece of paper. according to my source (i do not know if it's true so do not quote me on this), that it was made as a design to make the kisses look like a volcano with a smoke on it. others use it to open the kisses but if you left it in the refrigerator for a long time & the paper gets moist, the paper breaks before you can open the chocolate.

That's funny! Though you're likely not the only one annoyed by the little tag.. It's been so long since I ate a hershey's kiss, but I think I was just a tad annoyed at that pretty much useless tag..

I buy a bag every now and then and leave it in the fridge, like I said. I still eat more than I should when I do that, but not nearly as much as if they were sitting in front of me.

im annoyed by the whole stupid aluminum cover and the paper,,,
they sould come in a bag without that so you can take a bunch of them and eat it at once,,i like to eat like 3 at the same time,,but it takes time to open all of them,,,,
yessss!!! kisses are robbing our time,,,, LOL!!!!!1

LOL That is too funny! I always do the same thing with the little piece of paper. I end up finding them all over the floor but I do like to roll all the foil wrap in a ball and try to make a big ball. I love Hershey's Kisses. But I never thought about why unless it is to help open them easier.

I think that was probably the original plan, but I think the foil is so thin now that it opens very easily by itself.
I really dislike the things, but I do suppose it wouldn't really be a Hershey's Kiss without it.

Yum, that sounds good right now..I couldn't keep a bag in my fridge because if I don't eat them up, my son will...lol
As for the little tag, yeah sometimes it bothers me, especially when I am in a hurry for chocolate..

I think the little paper tag is supposed to act as a secret message or greeting while eating it. I noticed that instead of just saying "Hershey Kisses" on the tag, it says "good day" or "have a nice day" stuff like that. But I definitely agree that it's just a waste of paper because I usually don't take the time to read the writing anyway. I love chocolates so much that I quickly stuff everything into my mouth. I also hate how the paper goes inside the chocolate when it melts. Yuck!

Thats to cute you know how many time I have eaten that thing all though I can say a few years back I found one that said "You Rock" and I put a piece of clear tape over it back and front and gave it to my B/f which I must say he still has it how sweet huh!

I think they just get in the way. The paper is so lightweight that you often don't notice it which is why I sometimes leave a trail on the floor from the kitchen to my desk!
