If I'm going to snack on nuts I like raw cashew and boiled peanuts. I do like pine nuts in salads as I do some of the others. I like almond milk more than I like eating just almonds. I like almonds, walnuts and pecans in chocolate or any thing that is extra sweet because it tends to cut the sweetness for me.

gwenns There isn't any milk in almond milk. It is made with just the almonds. It's very good as well as good for you.

Almond milk?! hehe, pardon me, I didn't know there's almond milk! Isn't it taste more "almond-nie"?? (i meant concentrated, lol) I like walnuts but lazy to eat it if they are with shells (erm..is it called the shell?), hence I don't eat it everytime unless I found ready-to-eat ones =P

You've hit on one of my favorite things, nuts. I love them. I love all kinds, pistachios, almonds, pecan, cashews, and macadamia nut are the ones I like. I also like peanuts raw, or baked. I don't eat the boiled. I add them to my foods, salads and in my baking of breads, cookies, and cakes.

Hahaha! I ate any nuts without knowing how they are done, but well, I guess those peanuts I had eaten so far are all baked! Lol! I'm not a big fan of nuts in breads, cookies, cakes or chocolates, except for macadamia nuts xP

While peanuts are technically a legume rather than a nut, they are still my favourite - especially if they are salted. After that, I like almonds. Particularly covered in chocolate! But then that is true about most nuts. LOL

LOL! Definitely! I love macadamia nuts in all sorts of chocolates/cakes! Yummy! If you read my comment above, I just found out that peanut is not a nut, literally. lol =P But it's still an all time favorite of many of us

I beg to differ. As far as I know peanuts are not counted as nuts at all. There are legumes. I know that sounds "nutty" but it is true. However I do agree with you that macadamias are wonderful. I wish I could eat them daily. A very close second would have to be pecan nuts for me. I am not particulary fond of pine nuts as a nutty snack. They are okay in some recipes but not for just eating out of your hand. They seem more like seeds than nuts to me.

Ohh! I didn't know peanuts are not nuts! Hmm, now I wonder where nuts come from... Funny that I don't like eating pine nuts together with like salads, prefer eating them in front of TV lol, but it's quite "rare" and expensive here..

Pine nuts are expensive here too. Although I get the idea behind putting them on a salad I'm not a big fan of them in there either. I prefer croutons for a crunch in my salad. But I don't like to have cashews in stuff either even though I will eat those, on occassion, when I watch tv.

I like all nuts usually having peanuts, cashews or pistachios. The favourite is pistachio and I love it in gelato.

Oh ya!! pistachio gelato!! One of my favourite too! Anyway, you remind me of how we called pistachios in chinese, kai xin guo, which is directly translated into "happy nuts" lol! I don't know how the name comes about but I always thought we would me happy after eating it =P

I like all nuts. I think my favorite would probably be the all american peanut. Nuts are actually good for you, and help to promote low cholesterol. Walnuts are high in omega 3's which are essential for heart health. The best way to eat nuts in non processed. They are the healthhiest by far.
