i am not married, and nor do i intend to be for that matter lol after splitting up with my partner i dont intend to have another relationship as i have the children to think of so i doubt i will ever marry.

My husband and I have only been married for one year. We hit our one year anniversary on June 1st. That first year was pretty tough and not all the "honeymoon phase." We had a rough spot last year, but we got through it and are very, very happy now. I think you hit the real 'key' to a good relationship... spending time together. Too many couples tend to go their separate ways in everyday life and spend less and less time together. That can lead to a breakdown in communication, which always leads to trouble.
