I Mooned the Cat

Last night I wore a pair of shorts to bed. Sometime during the night the elastic broke. Didn't notice until I went down the steps to the kitchen to make coffee. The cat followed me to see what I was doing. I made coffee and while stretching to reach the sink, my shorts fell all the way to my ankles. The cat was mooned..lol Guess it could have been worse but my husband was upstairs in the shower and didn't know it happened. I didn't squeel on myself. It was rather funny. Have you ever had something like this happen to you?

LOL I'm sure hubby would of had a field dsy with that if he was there and saw it all. Thankfully, this never happened to me. What has happened once was when I was in the store and was reaching up for a product I wanted that was on the top shelf and toward the back a lil. My bra came up completely along with my top and gave some guy a free show. LOL I still couldn't reach it so I asked him to. He turned 3 shades of red that I laughed at. Something like this doesn't embarrass me much at all. Poor guy thou.

Am glad the cat can't talk. As nosey as she is, it would have been the kind of thing where she ran up the steps and tattled on me to my husband. Thanks for responding.

Funny! I can just picture the cat's face looking like one of those shocked cartoon characters! My dog likes to yank off my pants, and she thinks it's quite funny. Hopefully your cat wasn't too traumatized, and hopefully he doesn't tell all of his cat friends!

Now that's a funny habit your dog has. Does she do it in front of people also? My cat fell over with laughter. She's quite talented...lol Thanks so much for responding.

No...not exactly....but here is one that's really embarassing. Last Sat. I did a craft sale in a small town. I use my suitcases for my crafts...but had also emptied one and used it on vacation. So the sale is over and I am packing up my things....and my daughter in law is helping. Well when I pack my clothes...or am visiting someone I keep my dirty underwear seperate and zipped in the compartment in the lid......well somehow it became unzipped and when the lid flipped over two of my pairs of dirty underwear that I had forgotten about fell out onto the pavement! You should have heard my daughter in law....Holy Crap! What the Heck is this! She scooped them up and I just couldn't help laughting so hard I hurt!

How funny. I also keep my dirty underwear in the top part of my suitcase with the zippered bag so I can understand how it happened. Thanks for responding.

Hmmm that is kinda cute to have mooned your cat by accident. LOL! I have never had this happen to me before but my puppy has been able to open the door once or twice and stick his nose in the through the shower curtain only to get sprayed with water. LOL!!!!

At least it didn't happen while you were hanging the washing out! Imagine the neighbours getting a view! lol. I can't think of any occasions that this sort of thing has happened to me. Oh wait, one time, but someone else did it to me. Ok, I was at the casino (a special treat for myself after working practically non stop for a month!!!!) and was just about to go home. I was wearing a black skirt that tied up at the back, no other way to hold it up. Ok, walking through the crowded lounge when I feel my skirt slipping to the ground. Some cheeky guy had pulled on the tie. Ooops, that would have been ok if I was wearing my comfy undies, but I had to be wearing a g-string at the time! Talk about making the security surveillance teams day, they caught the whole thing on camera!!!!! Ah well, I got out of there alive at least! lol.

Nothing like that has happened to me, but I can remember my grandmother telling me a story about something similar happening to her . . . but it wasn't in front of a cat. It was in front of her church! She used to wear what she called a "corset" for her "back" . . . and her big ol' silk granny panties were pulled up over the corset. Well, one Sunday as she was walking up to the church's front door, her panties fell right down around her ankles. She said she just stepped out of them and picked them up and put them in her purse and went right on into the church. She went to the ladies room first thing! I think she started wearing the panties under the corset after that!

No, but I was once locked out of my home in front of the cat, does that count? :) I remember the cat looking at me like he did not believe I was that dumb.

It was cute in a frustrating way to me. Sometimes one has to be a cat owner to know that they can give the silliest expressions.

I never did anything like that. Mind you I always wear underwear, so even if my shorts fell down, there would not be that reaction. Which reminds me, I have to buy a new pair of shorts. It is going to be hard to do because most of the shorts in my size have the legs part way down to my knees and I am short to begin with and I need the extra length.

I didn't happen to have any underwear on because it was early in the morning and had only been awake for a short time so it was rather interesting. Thanks for responding.

That's hilarious, carolbee! My first thought was, "Did the cat moon you back?"On the serious side, your story reminds me of my most embarrassing moment while in what they would consider middle school these days. We were staging a play and I had the role of a maid with the cute black and white uniform. I knew that my underwear was a bit loose due to stretched elastic, but I wore them anyway. Well, they dropped right in the middle of my performance!Luckily, some of my quick-thinking cast mates blocked me from the view of the audience so I could retrieve them and continue with my performance.

Hehe...that's so funny. Well no can't honestly say I've ever mooned my kitties, but they certainly do have to put up with their weird mom's behavior at times...like me yelling at my computer when I do goof ups, and my thinking that they must be saying"Oh, yup, mom has lost her mind again and is yelling at that box thing again."
