At one time, my husband was the most experienced driver, but now, I do at least 90% of the driving. The only vehicle we own is in my name, but that is not the reason for the shift in principal driver.

My husband is a truck driver so when he is home he does all the driving. He is a good driver. When you drive everyday you get lots of practice. I do a little driving. I do my errands. I do not go far from home when he is gone. My vision at night is awful. If I go some where I go during the day. Some months back I hit a deer and totaled my car out!So now I do not go any where at night! I'm a big chicken now.

I am comfortable with the way my hubby drives. He is very careful. Especially with is family in the car. I don't fear the way he drives. What scares me are other drivers.

My husband and I both drive and, yes, he's a good driver even though he's blind in one eye. He also rides a motorcycle and I have no fear riding on the back with him.

I've done all the driving for the last few years ecxept for a month or so when I broke my wrist and couldn't use the gearstick. I have been involved in 2 accidents in 20 years. Both times people drove into the back of me -once when I was stationary at a zebra crossing and once when the guy turned too fast.
