What's on your walls?

Do you have paintings on your walls, or pictures of family, or your kids artwork (either framed or directly on the wall)? I used to have pictures and paintings on my wall, but somewhere along the line they all came down and I don't even own many of them anymore. Right now my walls are mostly bare, except for where my children have doodled or smudged. The only thing I have on my walls now is some of my children's framed artwork.

Well, I have pictures of my kids (a 16x20 of each of them), and pictures of my husband and me at different times during our first year of marriage and our wedding. There are also framed pictures that my kids drew, and some UNframed pictures they drew on the walls (EEK!!!!). My husband and I are both into Japanese art work, so there are different pictures of those types of scrolls on the walls too. Aside from that, I have flowers and pictures of flowers that match the decor hanging up :)

I have alot of decoration on my wall. In the living room I have a huge mirror with sconces on both sides and a table underneath. I also have on another wall a decorative metal piece with little cups for candles. I don't know if I will ever burn candles in it because it is right over the couch. I also have a really big picture frame with a picture in it. In the dining room I have two picture up as well. In my husbands office nook he has an inspiration wall with all kinds of quotes and encouraging images. It is a really nice look wall. And in our bedroom I have a shelf with a picture over it and some deorative pieces. And three pictures in my room. And in Each bathroom there is a framed pictures and one bathroom has a small shelf. It sounds like alot of stuff but really it isn't. The floor plan is spread out so when all is up it doesn't look bad at all.

I have nothing on my walls either, although I am looking for a print to go in my dining room as it has just been decorated and needs something to break it up a bit. I do not tend to put pictures of the kids on the walls, not because I do not love them it just does not fit in with the style I am looking for. I am going to have pics of them going up the stairs though and then I am thinking of having a modern one done of them to put up.

I have a few framed prints, but not too many.. I am thinking fo changing these to matching framed collages of family photos.. I think that times are changing and many people redecorating their walls with family photos.. It has always looked so very neat to see them hanging in groups..

We have a few prints which we've bought, several family photos and a couple of framed cross stitch pictures.

Our walls have pictures of our family and some abstract frames that I have made several years ago. Maybe in the future, some more will be added.
