Well due to the storm that hit my daughters area my grandsons won't have their trampoline to jump on for a few days. The strong weinds lifted it up carrying it about 25 feet and over her back fence landing into her neighbors yard. I got it over the fence with her neighbors help but the framework is also undone and needs to be checked for safety as the brackets were lossened from this act of God. Have your kids ever lost use of a toy etc due to severe weather damaging it? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

LOL. I lost a trampoline from a storm, too. I loved it. The storm threw it over a metal fence, and the center got torn somehow. I miss it...

Wow that was some strong storms, I've never seen my kids trampoline move an inch...and we've had some fierce storms here in Oklahoma! No, nothing of my children's has ever been damaged due to storms or whatever. I have been known though to run over a toy or two, poor guys.....

This happened to my two grandkids last year. they also have a trampoline. We had a storm with winds up to 70 mph. After the storm, the kids looked outside and could not fine there trampoline. My son found it, in the lot behind him. It also had damage but he fixed it.

My grandsons was not damaged. Just the legs came loose as did the brackets that hold them in place. A little work with a wrench and it's ready. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

We have not lost any toys from severe weather but we did get our trampoline stolen out of our yard. It was several years ago and alls they left was one spring. When I called the sheriff he laughed at me. The sheriff who came out to take the report said to me "You got me away from eating donuts for this report?" I knew I would never see my trampoline again but I wanted the sheriffs office to know someone came on our property and had stolen something. He said he would put out an APB for a Trampoline then he said it was almost lunch time and could I fix him steak and eggs. I told him no we did not eat steak at our house because we could not afford it. He was such a jerk! I later saw that jerk at the hospital where I worked he came in to fill out the paper work for a coroners case. I gave him the same crap he gave me.I was rude to him and made his time at the hospital harder than it needed to be. What goes around comes around. That when he was ready to leave I told him why I treated him so badly. I hope he will think the next time he is so rude to someone else.

hi Grandpa Bob oh yeah when the heavy winds blew here in Tustin last year a row of trees all went down and the light poles inbetween went down, then bam all the lights in that side of tustin went Kaboom. so we inside the library were without electricity and the library stacks were so dark I was shelving books and media with a flashlight. so my super told me to go on home and I would still get paid as it was an act of nature. when I go home my apt had electricity so had to do the darned dishes stacked it the sink. lol.

I read Minnie's discussion about that. That is crazy! I wonder what the neighbors thought when they saw the new 'gift' in their backyard. Storms that destructive scare me. Of course it might be because I live in Tornado Alley. But when I hear that a storm is coming I go get the candles. Because way too often the electricity goes even if nothing else does.

The only time that my kids toys have ever been damaged is by each other! Nothing to do with storms, but I am glad that you are all OK after that storm, hope your weather is better now.

No long ago my sons lost their tent that they left up in the back yard to play in. It did leave behind one of the stakes though.
