Mother didn't report daughter missing for 5 weeks

A woman accused of not reporting her daughter missing for five weeks refused to answer a judge's question of where her daughter was in a bizarre missing person case that continues to frustrate investigators.
This baby girl is only 2. I don't understand this. Nobody knows where she is or what has happened to her. Her grandparents were the ones who contacted the police. Where is the father?Do you think the mother had something to do with her disappearance? Being pregnant with my second child, I cannot imagine harming an innocent baby.

What is this lady on?
Who would have a child missing for 5 weeks and not report it unless she knows what happened to the child and knows it is not living or she sold the child to someone. Maybe the child is with her father..hopefully because I wouldn't want to think what else happened to the child..bad things. I hope they find this child soon and healthy and happy and living and not in a unmarked grave somewhere.

I'm a bit behind on answering questions. But I think I saw a later development of this story on the news the other day. You might have started a new discussion to address that so I'll check through the threads to see if you have. Essentially, she was photographed partying after her kid went 'missing.'

HI ersmommy,
This is very sad and terrible..For her being so quiet about the issue and situation, it is an obvious fact that she is part of whatever mystery happened to her child..
I hope that the police will be able to find the child since the grandparents are for sure supportive for this case..so whatever happen to her, will be answered and people who is responsible for her disappearance will be given enough sanction!

That is really weird. I do think that she knows what happened to her daughter or where she is. I don't know but she didn't really show any emotion for her daughter so that must mean that she knows something. The little girl is such a cutie and we have no idea what is happening to her. I hope that they are able to find her.
