Soda machine that takes credit cards!

I haven't seen one yet but that is a good thing. That means that the vending machines are trying to keep up wit the way that things are changing. Sometimes everyone doesn't have change for a machine. Now that they are making machines that except credit cards make it just that much easier for someone to pay for a soda. Thanks cool though, I didn't think they would make soda machines that accepted a credit card. Now I know they have done that what will be next.

I hate cash so I think that this is a great idea. i would definatly use the debit though. I think it would be a little ridiculous to have to pay a finance charge on one soda LOL. Its a great idea though because for people like me who do not like to carry cash it will allow us to get drinks and spend money as well. This will increase the earnings potential of the owner of the machine.

Haven't seen one of those yet in our area! But it would make it easier for me to get my caffeine fix! Yeah, I'm hooked on caffeine. Rarely have soda, but I don't mind the stuff. It's so delicious. We usually get a two litter on pizza day! Everyone loves that.

There are vending machines in my college that take our student ID cards. Our ID cards double as and ID and also as a debit card. So we can use our cards on the vending machines and buy what we need. I haven't seen any vending machine like this outside of my school but pretty soon all vending machines will be like that because it will be convenient. It's easy on people because now most people instead of carrying so much cash either have a credit card or debit card. And if someone needs something to drink they won't have to hunt for the nearest ATM to get some cash out they could just get their drink with their cards.

Not only are there vending machines that take credit cards; in Coral Gables, FL, the parking meters do. I parked at one recently that had a notation that the meter could not accept cash at that time, so please use a credit casrd until it's repaired. I didn't have any credit cards with me (I was going for medical tests, and they advise leaving all valuables home). I keep my car's ashtray full of coins for meters, tolls, etc., so I thought I was OK. I found another meter more than 15 minutes later! What a pain that was! I think I'd feel a little weird charging less than a dollar just to get a soda. The plastic has begun to rule the world!

that is kinda neat! I never seen one myself but I would use one if I did just to use it and check it out!

I have seen this. I thought it was neat. I guess in todays society it is practical since many do not want to carry change around with them. I know my boyfriend never has cash on him, he always uses his debit card. I carry all of it, because you never know when you will need cash.

No I have never seen that before. I think that is pretty cool also. I would like it because if I was really thirsty and didn't have any cash on me then I could just use the debit card. I will have to keep an eye out to see if there are any where I live. Probably not though.

Yes, there'll be more and more of them. Fewer and fewer people carry cash. And soda and candy machines have upped the prices lately. So it's less like you have the spare change. Convenient.

Ho, I did not see one yet. Or maybe I not observant.. here in my country, you have to insert your money before you can get the soda you want. But most often, you have to buy it from the food corner.. only few soda machines are available here.
