Utterly disappointed

Hello ajesh_pullad, Sometimes it happens and you don't worry too much. I never had an experience where my discussion being removed here but I had few times where my number of post went down. Maybe the discussion I responded to being deleted by MyLot. I didn't feel too much sad as there are still many good things happen here *smiles*

aw, how terrible this is ! i would suppose that they pulled the discussion because of the site posted by someone else. i guess it is punishment for all as they just deleted the entire discussion. i see you are up to 1016 now....so, i think you made a good recovery and very soon, too.

hi ajesh--pullad would it not be easier to just read the gidelines so that you would not write a discussion that would be deleted.Ihave been here four or five months and I have never had a discussion deleted.not ever. so read the the rules and get a ton of responses. good luck.

I am sorry that happened. I don't know why that must have happened, maybe it was some kind of a glitch or something, maybe it will come back. Again I am sorry that, that happened.

I am sorry to hear about that.I heard alot of mylot members complaining about their discussions were deleted and they didn't know why.Have you tried contacting Mylot?

We older users repeatedly remind the newer users that milestone discussions quite likely will be deleted. They are against the guidelines and are specifically mentioned. On the other hand, you could ask a question "How did it feel to reach your 1000 post?" and then say "I felt very - - -- " That is the guideline that you violated, not posting a milestone discussion.

yes! this has happened to me too! i made a discussion and some one responded with a referral link and the entire discussion got delete and i got very disappointed aswell! i think mylot should only delete the trouble makers response rather than the entire disucssion itself. its kinda sad!

Well I'm still going to congratulate you for reaching 1000 post if nothing else. Even though they deleted the discussion. You have reached the first point of being a poster here. I have gone past 1000 post and working for more. So don't let that bother you that the discussion was deleted you can always start others. Have a good one.

That is really sad Ajesh. I hope that you still got a significant amount of earnings anyway. I have never gotten more than 20 responses on a discussion and that was over several days time. Congratulations for having gotten all those responses. I'm sorry you violated the guideline. I'm sure you didnt do it on purpose.

Oh, that's too bad! I've had that happen, too. If you want to reference sites, like this one, for example, it's best to put it like so: mylot dot com. It's also sad that people don't read the rules or guidelines before they begin posting here. Please don't be discouraged, keep posting!

Oh..i am really sorry for what happened, but the next be very careful not to break their rules as they seem to be very strict about them

I think atleast two of my discussion will get deleted soon. If that happened atleast I will know what is not allowed in myLot. I am sorry my friend for your bad luck

I think it was against mylot TOS. i also did not know this, long ago somebody told that we are not allowed to start discussion about the mylot milestone. may be thats why it was deleted

I remember responding to that discussion... too bad it was deleted... you should have reported that particular response so that your whole discussion was not deleted... it is sometimes insensitive of other to put a referral link... when that sort of thing is a violation to the mylot guidelines...

Hi ajesh_pullad! I am sorry to learn about your deleted discussion. It has happened to me also. When I have reached my goal which was 5000, I was so happy and excited. This has also prompted me to make a discussion about it but after a few hours, the discussion was deleted. It was my first discussion and hopefully the last one that will be deleted. I thought it was alright for me to post such topic since I have been seeing the same discussions about ratings being discussed. I was wrong. It was one of the Don'ts here in mylot, a violation which will merit a deletion. I felt sad about it when it happened and I know how sad you may have felt. I just hope that it will be the last deletions for us my friend. Anyway, congratulations for your 1000th mark. Great job my friend! Take care always..God Bless!

I'm so sorry for you Ajesh. That is atrocious. I think MyLot should have some consideration for people who have posted a discussion and only remove the comment that violated their rules. Now all your messages of congratulations are lost to you. I hope you don't let it get you down. there's always your next goal. Go luck!

ugh that sucks! im always worried i will some how break a rule and everything get messed up

Hi, ajesh, have you tried to contact the administration to discuss the problem? Actually, if it were not you to post wrong link why your discussion's been deleted?... Do you know if anybody else had this kind of problems?
