So much for "Change" LOL

Really, Obama abandoned the "change" thing awhile ago. He still uses the word, but anyone paying any attention has noticed that he's just another politician. Not only "just another politician", but one that wasn't even beating John McCain in the polls anymore. Nothing wrong with naming Biden as his running mate. Biden will bring a lot of Democrats back to the Obama table. He doesn't make the Clintonistas happy, but then again, why would he want Clinton on his ticket anyway. So we'll just make fun of Obama if he uses the word "change" anymore and see how he does without the Rock Star veneer.

I completely agree with you. This campaign, I believe, is going to turn into another disaster for the democrats. He isn't a candidate for change anymore. He is turning into more and more of a hypocrite who won't keep his word, and is just saying what he needs to go try to get elected. And it is so transparent at this point. Everything he does just turns into more fodder for the republicans to throw against him, and he is making it so easy too.

You gotta laugh at him. He has gone from Rock Star to not even beating an opponent that most republicans feel was forced on them. Now the man of "Change" has picked the most "politics as usual" democrat out there! :~D

plz Biden is a loser he has ran for the nomination for prez at least 2x in the past and never once came close to being the nominee. This is the last nail in Obama's coffin I follow politic and when you want to find out who will win an election just look at who the candidates surround's themselves with if it people with a winning record most of time that candidate will win if it with unsuccessful people most of the time that candidate will lose like Obama just did pick a running mate who is long in the tooth who is having his last who rah.WE don't have to worry about "change" because neither of these candidates will bring such needed change to our country it's a shame to say ...I think that the 2 party system has ran its course and its time for other parties to be apart of our political system where We the People have a real choice and say in our political process.

His "change" mantra wasn't really resonating because the majority of people want someone who is practical and will offer a pragmatic approach to fixing things. He was dropping in the polls and once he abandoned talking about "change" all the time, he started to reach more people.

True, he started to reach more people, but continues to trail behind McCain in the polls. ;~D

I don't know, he's continuing to surprise me...so. I have no idea. He's been focusing a bit too much on "compromise" for my tastes, but I'm -still- waiting for something definitive for me to be able to write him off as "just another politician". I'm waiting. I almost expect it to really happen, one of these days...but until the..*shrugs* My that's so radical, right?! Lmao. Meh, I thought people liked rock stars..._

If I were a democrat I'd be so pissed right now. This election was supposed to be a guarantee after Bush's horrible approval ratings. Instead they've put up the most dishonest, flaky candidate they could find. McCain isn't exactly hard to beat. He's failed to win the nomination several times and isn't even liked by most republicans. Despite that, Obama's lead in the polls is gone. It's just pathetic. Pity the dems just voted for what CNN and the other networks handed to them without doing their research.

ParaTed, I know I am a little late with this comment but, I wasn't able to get online much this weekend and am just now reviewing what I missed. Joe Biden? What an anti-climax that must have been to all of those people who were waiting by their cell phones with bated breath!!! It just goes to show you how much of an inexperienced, judgement-flawed candidate Obama is! If he wanted "Washington as usual" for his running mate, why not choose the one person that would have made his ticket "unbeatable"? I believe Obama sorely underestimates the open sore his "defeat" of Hillary has made in the rank and file democrats. "A change you can believe in"? Not with BHO & JB!

Nothing says change, ParaTed, like the old gaurd of the party. Nothing says victory like a man that has lost his party's nomination 3 times including this years. Really Biden that is the best you could come up with Obama. With all of the different choices that Obama could have choosen Biden would not have been anywhere close to my number one choice.
