How will you feel if you are paid $1 for 1 quality post???

Hi everyone.
We all start new discussions in a hope that we will get more response. Everyone will have the feel that their discussion is a quality one. But unfortunately only some discussions get more responses. How will you feel if mylot pays $1 for every discussions which has 50+ responses??? How many discussions of yours will be qualified for that???
I have some 5 discussions which has 50+ responses. Lol. Hehe. What about you???

I wouldnt know about that. I havent had any disucssions that have had more than 15 or twenty responses. I guess I dont have anything that interesting to talk about unfortunately. I pick some that I think will be good as far as discusssions but they never seem to get that many posts.

2 thing you have to notice while posting new discussions. Time when we post and the Place where we post. Just take care in that and you will get more responses. Check out my blog with MyLot tips. I got paid from that. I am so sorry to say that the offer ended. The person who referred me told me that the offer will be valid till September 15th. I don't know why they ended so soon.
But one advantage of that forum is that we can search for referrals for mylot. Having referrals in mylot will increase our earnings a lot. I got one referral there. I am so happy about that.

hmmm...I do know maybe I got 5 0r 6 right now! I will be trying hard to post and post when that is the policy and I am sure mylot will be having a hard time paying to all of us since everyone will strive hard to make or come up with a quality post! lOL![/i]

I would feel very happy and very motivated to start another discussion. Unfortunately, I don't have any discussion that are interesting. My discussions never reach 20 responses let alone 50 responses.

Normally, I would be very interested in joining those sites but now, I have a lot of work which makes it hard for me to participate in discussions often. Besides that, you said that the offer is only valid for a few more days and so I doubt that they will pay better than mylot or have as many interesting discussions as mylot. Do they? I am interested in it though.

Two of my discussions reached 100 responses a long time after I started them. I don't know how much I earned from them but I do get higher earnings on days when my discussions are active, and sometimes I get extra amounts added to my earnings later, so I may have earned more than a dollar in total from some of my discussions.
We never know how the system works, so how do you know you haven't already earned a dollar from some of your discussions? Quality discussions go on getting responses over several days, they can get new responses added after weeks or even months.

I don't think we would have earned a dollar or a discussion. I had a discussion which have 100 responses. Now its not active. Till I reach that 100 response I have never crossed $1 per day. Everyday that discussion contributed something to my earning. But I don't think that it must have reached 1 dollar.
Thats because mylot doesn't count the number of responses and give them money. If the posts in that discussion is a quality one which is more descriptive, it will earn us more. If its one line description, even if we have more responses we won't earn more I guess. Not everyone will get 100+ responses easily. Only few will be getting. Atleast they can give $0.5 as a bonus which would encourage them right???
... I'd be happy if we can get $0.25 for each quality post. That will happen if my 6-year old starts mylotting..@vidhyavini (6111)

Do you think that getting 50+ responses to a discussion is that easy??? I don't think so. Ok if its so common they can increase the count up to 100. New offers will always be an encouragement for everyone. Yesterday I joined a forum which said that they will give $2 for 2 quality posts. Of course this is not permanent. Offer valid till 15th of this month. In that case they do encourage the users to post more. That sort of encouragement is always necessary I guess. Happy to have your response.Happy mylotting.

I haven't had any discussion with more than 50 responses. The most responses I have had is 32 responses and another one with 20+. I havent started a lot of discussions on my lot but I have gotten a response to every single one that I have started. I would like it if for one day mylot took 2 or 3 hours and payed a dollar for every person who posts a good quality post. They should have something like that here like a promotion type thing that anyone that post a good discussion around that time will get a dollar for the discussion and get payed for the responses they get in there discussions but I doubt that will happen here but mylot is still a very good site.

Ya you are right. In some way they have to encourage people. Give offers to them. It will be so nice if they do something like that. A forum which I joined yesterday is doing that. Offer valid till 15th of this month. $2 for 2 quality posts. Lol. Hehe. I am just giving a try to it. This way they are getting many new members also. I think this is the best choice to increase the members count also.

Of Course mylot will not be doing this. Not because this was the bad idea. Lol. Getting so many responses is not that easy. Its only possible if our discussion is too good and is of good quality. So rewarding them is a good idea of course. Lol.

That would be lovely. People would be more concerned in writing quality posts. However writing quality post does not ensure that one is going to receive a lot of responses. Sometimes it is a matter of populairty and sometimes the stupidiest threads receive the greatest number of responses.

Ya you are right. Sometimes the stupidiest ones get more responses. But the discussions that get more responses will be lower in number and mylot admin can view them easily to find the one that deserves some extra bonus. Atleast one discussion per day could get that. Lol.

well, most probably the reason why they don't do that is it will create cheating ., well, i could tell my friends to always answer to all my discussions till it gets to 50 or more responses., right? and those selfish guys will make use of it always! so, lets just be contented i guess with what mylot has to offer., and i am happy about it!

Ya you are right. But not everyone will do that. And we will not have much close friends in mylot. Only few we will be having. Its not possible to do that I guess. And they can provide an option that a member can post a new discussion only once. After that he has to post comments and not a new response. That would help right??

Ya those kind of offers will encourage the users more to post quality discussions right. Its not necessary that to give for 50+ responses. Atleast they can consider the discussions with 100+ responses. Right?? I joined a forum in which there is an offer. 2 quality posts will give $2. This offer is valid till September 15th it seems. The payment will be done on 15th. Hehe. Thats great right??? Some offers can be given here also.

You mean that if a discussion has more than 50 responses you get 1$ for it ?! Well, I did not know that ! Great news, really ! I never was so lucky, but there is time for anybody, isn't it? I say lucky because you also need a bit of luck for that, right? So, you may really open a quality discussion and have few answers, there is not a matter of ... wrong feeling, but also a matter of luck. If you insist and work a little here I am sure you get rewarded. Thanks for the good news, i will try to have at least one top discussion this month. See if I succeed ....

I am not a question poster here,but I like to take a good look around the site and see what discussions people have posted,there are often some good ones.There are so many different forums about now,some are specialised forums though.I have surfed the internet regularly to see if I can find up and coming forums.They seem to be popular.Not seen too many discussions here in Mylot with loads of replies,maybe the discussion has to be really something special if its going to attract any great attention.

I just write for fun and its a bonus to see I have earned something for it. I did not realize a lot of writers are more into the financial aspect.
Take the pressure off and just enjoy writing. I think the more you focus or worry about how many join the discussion or how much can be earned it probably distracts you from the reason your here in the first place...your joy of writing.

50 is a bit steep, I think 30 would be better, I have several over 30, maybe one or two over 50. I think getting a bonus for having a lot of responses would be nice.
