A promise the Lord gave me today. 17For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."Revelation 7:17 The scripture promises comfort in our suffering, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Very nice, a very powerful and comforting promise for of us who suffer and for all of us who feel pain. If I look very close I know that there are still many who suffer more than I am, still many out there cry the tears of injustice, abuse, unfaithfullness, even loniless and I can imagine how their hearts ache and long for healing. Others even die crying, but we have a promise that in heaven He will wipe each tear from our eyes. Indeed, God has promised that He will wipe away all tears in heaven (Rev. 7:17), but until then the healing will be incomplete. Grief lessens but does not dissipate. The psalmist said that while God’s Word gives life, there is still the combination of “comfort in my affliction” (Ps. 119:50). Even in life’s toughest circumstances, we can, with God’s help, enjoy a measure of healing. — Dave Branon have been through the valley of weeping, The valley of sorrow and pain; But the God of all comfort was with me, At hand to uphold and sustain. —Anon.

That is actually pretty inspirational. But keep in mind that no one has suffered as much as Jesus Christ himself has suffered and through his atonement is where we have repentance and everlasting life with both him and our heavenly father. If anyone thinks they are suffering I have found the best way to overcome is to look to the scriptures like you have added in your discussion. If for any are sincere in their questions the heavenly father will answer your cries. Without suffering there could be no compassion and that is something that everyone no matter what religion can use in their daily lives.

I believe the lord will wipe every tear from our eyes too. Just when we are in our saddest moments, the lord is always there to help lift us back up and dry our tears up.

Hi there Zelmarq! Thank you for sharing something very inspiring. I needed one that would make me feel better. God indeed helps us get through every trial. He puts us into a situation that we think we cannot handle. But hey! It's His way of telling us that we are strong and He is always in our midst. God shows us His love in every way He knows we can realize. Have a Blessed Sunday my dear friend!

That is truly a beautiful promise and hope that God has given us. Thank you for sharing it with us. Just the thought that one day we will no longer suffer any pain or see others suffering. That is awesome! Maybe before we go to bed, instead of thinking about all the problems we can imagine how life will be when that promise becomes reality.
