Oh my where do I begin! I do not know what Malunngay is. And I don't like any of the other things you listed. I eat a lot of corn, green beans, broccoli, fresh spinach leaves and cauliflower. I would cook a cheese sauce for broccoli and cauliflower to teach my girls to like it, then start on finger foods(raw) with ranch dressing for dipping. They like it and are cousins to like it that way too.

malunggay is a green leafy vegetables..it is also an herbal medicine..very nutritious and can be found plenty here in my country philippines...it is even promoted by our department of health that kids be given malunggay always because of its healthy benefits and is very cheap also.

I enjoy eating vegetables if they are in some kind of sauce or if they have a dressing. I eat salads occasionally if the toppings and dressing are good. My favorite vegetable would have to be Kang Kong. I enjoy eating it in restaurants where they serve it with a spicy sauce poured over it. I also enjoy eating it in a Filipino dish called Sinigang. It's a really sour soup that usually has Kang Kong and other vegetables and meat in it.

LOL Like artichoke! My favorite way to eat it is to steam it in water for about 50 minutes. Drain and cool, serve with lemon-butter (mostly lemon.) Pull off a leaf, dip it in the sauce, and scrape the artichoke flesh off with your teeth. Discard the leaf. Enjoy!

I like carrots. We have a book over here that shows you how to get kids to eat veggies. You add them to cakes and cookies, or puree them and add to gravy or potatoes. You use caulflower to add to potatoes. This really works and the kids get use to the taste. I already add carrots, and summer squash to cakes.

Hi andak, No I do not like eating vegetables. I am a confessed vegetables haters and all my friends either don't order vegetables or order them apologetically when dining with me (but I am no meanie!! ). I only eat them if they come tasteless in some food like burgers or soup.

I like fried okra, which is not good for anyone. I can eat Okra in soups with lots of other vegetables. I believe that my favorite vegetable is the carrot. Maybe my affection for the carrot is a holdover from my children. My mother always had a huge vegetable garden, but the carrots she grew were not worth bring into the house. Sometimes I'd get carrots at the home of a relative, who had bought them at the grocery store. An aunt even taught me to like cabbage by cooking it with my beloved carrots. My second favorite vegetable is corn. Corn, is one vegetable we always had in abundance. Perhaps it should be termed a grain instead of a vegetable, though, as it can be used in the same manner as any other grain. I'm glad that lettuce can now be purchased at the grocery store year round, and not limited to the early spring growing season.

Fried okra is a specialty of the southern US. The okra is sliced crossways into 1/2 inch pieces, dipped into egg and then into cornmeal, wheat flour mixture and deep fried. Like I said, it isn't the most healthy dish, but it tastes good.

its good that your family eat healthy because my mother is not..she always crave for pork and inasal and all that is fatty foods and even drinks softdrinks in between meals...which is kind of annoying because my children are copying her habit.

Im quite picky with what i eat. When it comes to vegetables, i ask my mom first if that certain veggy has good nutrition. if not, i would not bother tasting it at all. when i was a child, i disliked the idea of having vegetable as part of my diet. now that im older, i make it a point to eat veggies at least every other day. i love broccoli, baguio beans, bitter gourd, squash.

I do like okra although I don't get to eat it a lot. I like corn. In fact I had corn on the cob last night, as well as spinach salad. I like the spinach kind of 'lettuce' a lot more than regular lettuce. I like black eyed peas and potatoes as well. I don't know what malunngay is though. I've never heard of it.

that's great you eat vegetables regularly. i like vegetables very much. vegetables even is my main food. i like any vegetables available around. but my favorite is broccoli. it's only due to its price i cannot eat it everyday. instead, i will eat other healthy vegetables like beans, bean sprouts, spinach, string bean, lettuce, carrot, tomato, and sometimes eggplant. i always eat tofu for the protein resource.

I do like veggies... but only prepared certain ways. Like I love tomatoes raw but I HATE them cooked. I LOVE cabbage in egg drop soup from a good Chinese restaurant. Cucumber sliced thin... raw, no dressings or dips, just salt. But I think my favorite veggie is asparagus. Cooked fresh, but hot firm and crunchy! But I like it other ways... THAT is just the way I ADORE it. Mmm... now I am hungry.
