I think it is great that the gas prices has came down. But I think it is because it is time for the Elections. What do you think? I heard this lady yesterday on the News, that spoke her opionion about it. And It thought to my self hey she has a point? It is good that it came down. I think the lowest I seen so far is$2.99 ok. What is your take about all this? Have a good week-end!

One thing to learn aobut the markets is this rule. If one thing drops another will increase. There are basically 2 markets to watch. Stocks, bond, and comodities. What you will find is that for the most part if stocks are doing well then bonds and commodities will decrease in value or remain about the same. However, when stocks fall you will usually see a rise in bonds and commodities. Why is that the case? Because commodities and bonds are more stable markets. Therefore in troubled times people tend to jump to stability. Gold, silver, oil etc. Politic probably play a small part in it, but if you look through out history you will see this relationship with Stock, bonds and commodities to be constant.

I really don't watch much. It could be really depressing. So I just keep believing that God is in control and move on. The fact still remains you will see both stock and bond fluctuate and commodities will rise the worse the economy gets. So I expect to see more about them and this recession continues.

I have noticed that too and I think it is great. I think it may have something to do with the economy trying to get back on tracj with the bailout plan that is coming. I'm not sure what our gas price is here right now in Indiana though.

I'll have to agree, I think it has more to do with the elections than anything else. If you think about it, Bush's party will want his party to look good in the voter's eyes, and as if they've done something to work on our high gas cost problem. I guess we should enjoy it while we can, because after the elections are over it'll probably zoom back up again (unfortunately.) I do wish home heating expenses would stay a lot lower too. With all this financial mess our country's in, it's getting harder for the average person to make it, and those higher prices just make it even harder yet. You have a great weekend too!!

You agree too. Yes I think that is why. Cost of Gas to heat our homes is never going to come down, It is steady going up. How are you this week-end? I hope good are you trying to stay warm, this wheather is so great. But this is the time for it. So we might as well get use to it. I found some gas it Speedy for $2.99 I think that is the cheapest I seen yet.

Enjoy the low gas prices while they are so. I think that they are down partly because of the elections, or some other reason we don't know about. They will go up again, just as soon as the Middle East hiccups.

Seems odd that the price suddenly comes down, but then I hear how "per barrel" it is higher than it was this summer when prices at the pump were so high! So I don't care what any of these gurus' are saying, I do think it is cause of the election that they are staying down at the moment. Kind of like with this foreclosure thing - the guru's keep saying people just stopped making their payments cause they found out they owed more on their house than it was worth cause property values fell. No, most people dont' hardly know a thing about property value and those that do wouldn't go spedn $400 for an appraisal to see if it was higher or lower than what they bought it for. Those that might, would know - things go up and down, just sit awhile and the value will go up again. THe people that lost their homes lost cause they signed a stupid loan that htey didn't bother to understand what they were signing and signed a loan they couldn't afford, even tho they were told they qualify for the loan, they just didn't do their common sense math/budget. Now that hte interrest adjustited so high, they can't afford the payment now so that is why they stopped making payments. Period, end of story. But since most don't understand this, the guru's are saying it is just cause peopel stopped, not becauase they stopped because of a bad loan they were encouraged to sign, and didn't bother to do their own homework to see if they could accomodate it. After election, maybe hold off till next year, you'll see gas prices go up. Just my perdiction.

Ya, maybe due to elections in your country, prices of oil have come down but mainly its due to the international price all over the world which is low so obviously Govt. has to slash its retail price.LOL!
