How often do you see movies?

Watching Movies - I am watching movies.

My boyfriend sent me a message just now inviting me to watch a movie. We frequently watch movies. Every week we watch one if given the time. It is costly but we enjoy it a lot. Last month he proposed that instead of watching movies we would just buy some pirated dvds and watch at home. The plan didn't work because pirated dvds are poor copies of the movies. A few hours from now, we will be watching another movie. How about you? How often do you go out and watch movies?

The last time I been to a theater to watch movie is one year back. That's when my GF forced me to take her to that movie. On that day we faced so much problem that we decided it is better to sit at home and watch movie rather than facing so much trouble.

What problems did you have watching movies? It feels much nicer in the theater because of the sound and the big screen. We only have a 21" TV here at home.

The theater is about 10 miles from home and it took us 3 hours to get there in traffic. After reaching there theater maintenance is very poor and the AC wont work. Also they charged 25 Rs for a cola which actually is only 10 Rs. When the same was complained there is no action.

Well, I do not go out and watch movies in the cinema because it sure is a costly affair. Instead, me along with my friends download movies. It takes me approximately 7 hours to download one and I set it up during the night or when I'm off to college and come and have a nice movie to watch..Yeah. pirated DVDs have very poor quality and they are not worth watching or buying. bourne

Pirated things are of much less quality than the original. Downloading something also is an infringement of copyright laws. Well, it is more practical nowadays, who can blame us for downloading something from the internet.

They cannot really blame us for piracy you know. The blame the developing countries to be the hub of piracy, but little do they realize that the term developing means that they are trying to catch up. So they tend to get intersted in movies that are released in the US or the UK. But they do not launch the same day at all the places. Sometimes they do not launch at all. So people surely download and see them and enjoy the movies. bourne

Ihave DirectTV with Showtime and watch my movies on that. We go to a theatre about every 3 or four months though just to get out. Lately we eat before hand so we aren't tempted to eat at the theatre due to high costs. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Watching movies can be addicting. It seems that there's something missing in my week if I don't go to the movies. When I don't have money I just wait for a movie to be shown on cable TV. It only takes around 4 months for the movie to be shown on cable TV.

It is rare for me to go out and watch a movie, not many of my friends do it, and I am not a big movie guru, though they are enjoyable sometimes. The biggest reason for me not going to the theater is because it costs money and I am trying to save every penny that I can get my hands on, so I will not put my hand in my pocket for unnecessary purchases, I will buy myself pleasures and things when I know that I can afford to after meeting my goals, I must be responsible with my money at all times, though it does make it hard for me to have fun, I am either always at school or at work, it's late at night here so that is the only reason why I am even here right now, but I am sure this is my last post of the night since I have to go to bed sadly. Enjoy your movies and have a great day or night. Happy mylotting!

Watching movies is really costly. I told my boyfriend that we can eat instead but he insists on watching a movie. It's okay with me, he's the one paying.

well.. xzg .. you could try learning some musical instrument in your spare time.. like a keyboard or something .. which would be easier to start .. that way, you will get to kill your time and freshen your mind and soul at the same time..

I don't go out to watch a movie, it's a lot better to sit on my bed or the couch and watch a good movie with my family. We usually buy a movie and watch it, then turn around and let the neighbors borrow it and vice versa with them. That way, we can watch new movies all the time without spending a fortune on them. There's programs on the internet where you can take points and get 6 free movie rentals from Block Buster, so that's 6 free movies that you just saved money, especially if it's a crappy movie.

It's really a waste of money if you buy it in a store and it's one of those movies that you wished you rented first or borrowed from a friend. Even better if it's one of those movies that you can only watch one time.

That's nice. Sharing and trading it is a nice way to see new movies. You really can't tell if a movie is good or not. Sometimes it's not worth your money to watch them on cinemas.

Ooh, buying pirated DVDs is bad. You should either just go to the movies or wait for it on cable if you don't want to buy the original copies cos they're expensive. Though most DVDs now are on sale, 199, 299 and in buy 1 take 1 ranges. It may be a bit pricey but hey, it's original so the quality is good and you can watch it over and over whenever you like. You're gonna waste more money on pirated. Okay, I think I already sound like I'm working for Edu or something but I get sensitive with pirated stuffs. Anyway, I go watch the movie almost once a week sometimes even more. I have this friend that we've set up Friday as our movie day. But there are still times I watch more than 2 movies in a day at home via cable or online streaming.

I usually watch movies by buying DVDs at home. On one hand I can enjoy the movies with my family member together which won't cost us too much money; On the other hand, I can collect these movies by this way, Do you think is a good way to see movies? Just have a good time to share with your boyfriend !

I prefer watching movies quiet often, almost every weekends. I don't like watching movies at home, in CDs or DVD's. I prefer watching those movies at movie complexes, its total entertaining, though it is costly.

Watching it at a moviehouse is really different from watching it at home. It really depends on the person watching. I like to watch on a moviehouse with only a few people in it. I don't like overcrowded theaters, that's why I watch a movie around 3 weeks after it premiered.

Hi!I watch movie every night after work.I'm enjoy the movie but it's too expensive to go to the cinema. So I choose to stay at home using my laptop.I have almost adapted myself to this. I'm a sort of lucky guy cuz my laptop has a Dolby Audio System so I enjoy the movies somethimes. I'd like to go to the cinema, but I China we can't have good service and good environment sometimes cuz people wht work there were rude and the audiences were noisy and I like watching movies with a good atmosphere. I'm a big fan of films by the way.^^

I think it is fun watching movies in the Cinema hall or multiplexes as the case may be....but it takes a lot of time and effort to do that. One has to reserve seats in advance to be sure , which means you have to go early and stand in a que etc etc..too much of a bother. I like the experience of going to the hall and watching film on the big screen, however, i have not done it for all the cited reasons since many months now...hope you had a good time at the theater and enjoyed the movie :)
