If I Read One MOre Discussion on Not Making Any Money I Am Going to Barf!!!!

I don't pay any attention to them but I have noticed the these discussions are usually from newbies. I think some people joined thinking that this site was going make them rich! I just hope they do not give up their day job!

Yes, it really is redundant to say the least. Everyone should have realized when they joined Mylot what the payouts were going to be. Read the Q&A, and it will answer all questions. Even to the left of the response box, it says "Please be as descriptive as possible". Some people post a one line discussion or response and expect to make money on it. Then they post a discussion the next day that they only made pennies.

The only thing worse are the "I need a lot of money, how do I that online" discussions. Or the "I am new to Mylot, how do I earn?" discussions. I personally believe most of these discussion are from people who can't think of anyting else to post and want to earn anyway. To me, it is kinda cheating mylot. If you cannot come up with a substantive discussion (or at least try to), don't bother posting.

If they bother you, why do you read them? Seems to me there's plenty here on Mylot that's a whole lot more interesting. I have Making Money as one of my interests, mostly because it's easier than always having to say "no, I don't want to add this interest," but I hardly ever read or answer discussions in that topic. Boooring.

I am also tired of the money making aspect on here.. I usually just delete any discussions that don't interest me and I also delete the person if the only discussions that they start have to do with money or referrels.. I am not interested in talking about why they didn't make but a couple of pennies a day on Mylot, I have days when I make a couple of pennies also, but am smart enough to figure it out without starting a discussion about it.. After a few of nothing but these types of discussions, I do delete them.. I can go into the Mylot Digest that I receive each day and find many more interesting topics to discuss or comment on..

The answer to those discussions about not making money are the discussions themselves. I see them all over the place, but I don't usually respond to them, therefore the person making the discussion gets little money because most folks don't respond I'd rather see something silly or funny that you can actually answer to

My take is that they do not read or understand the guidelines, and they are too used to the sites that require minimal effort to make maximum bucks. But you never receive payout. Yes, all kinds of discussions would be much more interesting than this. I could lay you out a dozen, easily, right now. It is just that today, and tomorrow will be overwork days, and then I am going away for the weekend, and the poor discussions would just sit and languish while I am gone, unless I decide that I may be able to find a wireless signal and take the laptop along. Please do not barf, Hatley, it is really hard to clean out of keyboards.

I strongly agree with that. I come here because i like to engage in discussion. A topic such as " I only made 14Cents this month..i'm made" are topics you really can't comment on in a productive way. It's depleting the whole purpose of discussion.

Oh Hatley... You know how some people are. Lol. I guess they expected too much and are disappointed with what they got and maybe they just wanted the world to know. Lol. Hahaha. Anyway, if that's what makes them happy, let them be.

I feel the same way with my earnings here also.i only get penny,i think i need to response to other discussions or start new discussion to increase my earnings.i think we need to response more to any discussion to earn points or there might a problem in their earning system.

I know how you feel about such discussions. I want to puke myself! You have been here much longer than many of us here in this discussion. So I'm sure you have seen much much more about these boring discussions. I agree that I have been attracted to funny discussions as well. It entertains me and I feel much better after reading them. I make sure that I make a request to be their friends, so that I could get entertained by their antics.

there does seem to be alot i'm still playing catch up on my emails and most of them i have skipped i initially joined for the money as i freely admit but the place is so much more fun that just for that. They should have fun in discussions and let the money but an added bonus i know i do

Well, it DOES seem to kind of take forever to get to $10! Why not a $5 payout! :(

I found somany discussions on making money and all saying that they are paying eventhough they won't get paid. It is hard to find some good discussions here in mylot.

Yeah, I know. I tend to skip over these discussions. Mylot isn't going to hand us money, it takes a lot of dedication to this site to make anything. And isn't part of the reward the satisfaction of knowing you had to apply yourself to contribute to this site? I understand the impatience, but talking about it constantly is not going to change it. So they can post about it, I don't mind, but I'm not going to stop in and talk about it as well.

Yeah! I always feel that way. And, it's sad that the newbies still don't have the hang of making money here. Basically it stems a basic lack of understanding about Mylot, in general. I am not saying that I am here just for the money, but you know how expenses are. Every little bit counts. I spent the better part of a year shouting my lungs out trying to help newbies around here, telling them what to do to make more money on Mylot. And, this stuff works for me, otherwise I wouldn't say it. But, they just kept asking the same dumb questions as if they needed an easier way to do things. Heck, everyone knows the secret to making money here is to write great discussions and have great friends to chat back and forth with. No bigger secret than that. But then that takes teamwork and community. These newbies don't want that. They wanna get in and get out and make a quick buck. So, let them complain!

No you are not alone. And watch where you aim that puke.I think that money is what gets people interested in being here. For some that is all it is about. Sooner or later they leave.

Tell us how you really feel. I avoid those conversations because number 1, if they posted more they would get more and number 2, nobody wants to respond to a sob story about how much myLot doesn't pay them. I'll read and respond to somebody who made some good money but a one line "congrats" is all they'll get.

Hi, I just see those discussions as opinions of disappointed people. They come here thinking this is some get rich quick scheme and are disappointed to know it is not. I only feel pity for them.

If you see a post like that just read the title and thats it. You don´t have to respond to it or something like that. Most of people are in it for the money and they have to know what are the earnings here. So you´ll never see this stop. Hope I didn´t upset you . Happy mylotting . See you around . chao
