Here's a pic that I found of a woman wearing blue eye shadow. It seems very theatrical. I would love to be able to wear something so bold. It's not like the powder blue eye shadow from the 1980's. I hated that stuff! It looked so fake. Very unflattering. Would you ever wear blue eye shadow? Or, does it just look too harsh.

I kind of doubt that I would, I don't think that shade is right for me Although it does look very good on the woman in the picture. I like when women wear make-up like that

Yeah! It's real sexy stuff. I like the theatrical effect of the blue eye shadow in the pic. I'm a Libra, so I'm all about theatrics, even if I go over board sometimes.

hi beautyqueen on me that would look too harsh, on her its allright. but I could wear a paler blue green to match my' eyes I have very fair white to pale pink skin and white hair. so pale blue green would look great on me with my fair coloring .I dont like theatrical stufff for myself so light and pretty would do it for me.I have worn a smoky grey blue that looked good on me..

I'm always afraid that I'll look as if I'm dressing up for a Halloween party if I wear the theatrical stuff!

Yes, sometimes I will wear blue eye shadow. I think you will look cool with it. In fact today sometimes people even use black eye shadow. Hard to believe it:) I love China

Hi, beautyqueen26. Yes, I would love to wear blue eye shadow. I have always had a desire to wear blue, purple and silver eye shadow. I think it looks retro and it is stylish. I would like to have a certain outfit that I would wear that matches the color of my eyeshadow. It looks good on many women that have it on right.

in my every day life == probably not. I'm a plain sorta girl. I barely wear makedup and when I do my eyeliner comes out smudged or thick. I'd have someone do it for me -- with a funky outfit or something.

Oh, I can never ever wear blue eye shadow. Ok, maybe on halloween, but not on a normal day. lol Any time I put any kind of colored eye shadow on my eyes (except for brown or beige) I look like either a hooker or a small child that got into my mother's makeup. It is absolutely ridiculous. I don't think even the most talented make up artist could make blue eye shadow look good on me.

Think pink - Me in my cybergothic (party) wear
Hi beautyqueen26, I hope you are going ok . It's been a while but I am getting back to mylot one bit at a time, so I thought it would be nice to visit one of your discussions once again. So far for the off topic part of my response. Basicly, I don't wear make up on a daily basis. I do like to wear make up when I go out and it can be quite theatrical like you just stated. I smear on any colour I like to be quite frank and I don't care that much what other people think. I don't have a lot of colours though because I allways find other stuff I want more badly than I want make up . The colour kind of fits with the partywear I have, they are all bright or neon colours mixed with black or white. It's a bit to much to explain it all here but I'll add a pic. It's a bit of an old one (7 year ago?), but it illustrates that I do like to wear colours and clothing (when going out) that are far from regular. Fun discussions, thanks for posting!

hmmm...the pic looks nice. I don't wear eye make-up besides the black eye-liner on occassion. So, I guess I'll be staying away from the blue eye-shadow.

I have and do wear blue eyeshadow now and then. Not anything near as bold as in the picture. And I wouldn't put as much of it all around my eye as in the picture. But I do use blue to go with outfits and then I smoke it out quite a bit with a subtle natrual color.

Blue make up was out where I live in the 90s and I used to wear it all the time. I loved it and when it is put on right then it looks really good, I used to wear blue and white!

I think this colour would be way too strong for me, maybe just because I am not used to it on my eyes. I tend to go for neutral shades, pale browns and light colours, and then use black mascara to highlight my lashes. I do have a pale blue which I wear on some occasions, but nothing quite to so dark as this. :)

I have worn blue eye shadow b4, i have a range of shades, from dark, almost navy blue, to the lightest baby blue I've ever seen. I use those when I'm going out to the club and want to create a dramatic look. And it really brings out the color of my blue eyes.

I don't wear makeup at all, so my answer to this one would have to be no, I would not wear blue eyeshadow, or eyeshadow of any colour. I don't think I am able to see well enough to put it on either. I'd probably just poke myself in the eye, or something stupid like that. LOL

I'm stepping out on a limb here to confess that I do not wear any make up ever! Shimmery lip gloss on occasion would be all. All I can say is that if I did wear anything it would be light...Definitely not blues! ~Heavens~

I have tried wearing one and the blue that you hated, haha. It kinda works for me. I tried not putting it so much so it still looks invisible. I think I can't carry the darker shades of blue.

I dont wear make up but think that abit would brighten up my face, I have never really felt confident enough to wear make up. When I was at college, I would experiment with make up but would only use neutral colours - nothing too bold as I hate attracting attention to myself. I would love to see the pic of the woman.
