Hi everyone. 
I just thought that its impossible to delete the discussions here. I wanted some of my discussions to be deleted badly. So I thought that I don't have any other way than to delete my account.
I started a discussion for that and I said that as I couldn't delete my discussions, I wanted to do this. I got a response asking to contact admin for this. I never thought that admin would help me with this.
But they did. I got a message saying that the discussions were deleted and they have asked me to contact them if necessary.
Did you people contact admin for any reasons?? Did they listen to your problems???

Why did you create a discussion if you are going to want it to be deleted? That is just silly. You also loose whatever money you made from the discussion.

I started some discussions about my personal problems here. At that time I was just very depressed and started that without actually thinking that its a public forum. Now I felt that it could create some problems for me in the future. So I just thought of deleting it.

I just asked them yesterday why my discussion was deleted because I couldn't see where it violated guidelines. Apparently they are going to start deleting discussions that give negative reviews of other sites. So hopefully they will add that to the guidelines so that everybody knows.

Well that will be a good news then because I thought too and they will not allowed us to delete some discussion but anyway,that is really a nice thing because we are able to delete those discussions that we really don't feel..:-0 They are really always there to help and that is so nice.:-0

No I have not contacted admin ever, but now I know where to go in case i want help in sorting out my discussions. I woudl alos like to know how do you correct and error or edit a discussion.

Once posted is posted. We can't edit or delete the discussion. Only admin can delete the discussion. And it will delete only if the reason you give them is valid. I don't think that they will listen to us for deleting the discussion if it has some typo errors.

I don't think admin will be listening to that problem. Everyone will have that problem and it will take the admin's whole time to solve that. I just wanted to get my discussions deleted due to some personal problems and so they did it. It was not that those discussions didn't have any responses.

Oh I see I have these post that is hanging without a comment for a couple of years. I was thinking maybe they could delete it since its not doing anything at all.

hi vidhyavini thats really nice that they responded to
your email and deleted your unwanted discussions. They took a long time to respond to my email but they did and helped
'me out as asked too. I had had my star taken from a ten overnight to a six so I told mylot and they told me they were'
observing two people who they thought were guilty. later they tol me these two people were banned for sitting up all night'hitting the minus key on all my posts. I have now got back up to an 8
which is good enough for me.

Oops. This is the major drawback here. If anyone has some problem with us, they just show that in our rating. We are just giving our opinion. Whats wrong in that?? Why do they want to do this??

Even if everyone contacted, they will listen to them only if the reason is valid. Some have a thought of deleting their 0 responses discussions. I don't think that admin will be listening to that.

Wow you're lucky then! I tried emailing them before I think but they never got anything done. Maybe because it's just a small insignificant problem. I think they should have a feedback page her eon mylot though because it's hard to connect with the site's administrators..

I think they're really trying so hard to be able to listen to all the aspirations of the members. I remembered that i was once asked them to delete one of my double posts and they really did it. I don't know whether it would reduce my payment that day or not, but as long as we do it for the good of everyone here, the admin here would still listening to us.
And oh yeah, I still remember that there was a time that a one-line-poster flooding the no-response-section with a massive posts that was really annoying, I reported it to the admin and some hours after that I can't see those discussions anywhere. I think the admins have deleted them all and that's really relieving.
I think it is good to have the admin who still listening to what you want, because sometimes the forum would be really a mess if it is neglected by the admins and mods.

That's right. Now the only thing I want from myLot is the spam report feature in PM box. People keeps sending me spam message after I approve them as a friend. I hate that because I want to make friends, not adding spammer to the list. I wonder how we can report those spams because somehow it is annoying. I hope the admin would listen to me again this time, and give the spam report feature in the PM feature.

Ya you are right. The one line discussions are just annoying. When I joined this site, I used to spent my whole time with that "No Response" section only.
But these days if I enter that section, I just get bored of mylot. Lol. Every discussions are just one line discussions. So I just stopped looking at that section. Its great that admin helps us with that too.

You should give some valid reasons for deleting the discussions. If mylot considers that to be a valid one, they will respond to your request. Otherwise they will not. All the best.

Hi Vidhya, It is nice to hear that mylot administration responded to you and extended their help to tackle the problem. You have done a good job as acknowledging the resolved problem to other mylotters so that they can also seek helps from the admin when they need it. I hope you must be happy and give up the idea of deleting the account. Be active in mylot as the same way you were. Good luck.

Mylot is one well administered site thats y we could find many as many peoples here, even i had issue on credit of earnings and mylot has reponded in 48 hrs with solution. I find it great to receive a descriptive reply too from mylot. Thanks to mylot to have a great admin team which runs the world of population

hello vidhyavini, yes i contacted the administration once but i haven't got any response. i wanted to ask them that why i wasn't getting cents for some of my posts. for example i responded to 9 posts for which i got only .6 cents. i am a newcomer & i have no knowledge about it. since you are an experience mylotter you can put some light on this. waiting for your reply.

Actually no one here knows the exact way of paying. I have posted more than 1000 posts. The people who have the same post count will not have the same earning that I have.
Here this system works only if we are more descriptive. Quality of the post is very important. The number of posts that you write doesn't actually matter. I have also read some discussions saying that they have earned 40 cents for writing just 18 posts. Thats because they must be writing in a descriptive way. Try to write more and you will get more than what you have expected.
These type of questions will not be answered by them because every new comers will probably be asking the same to them. Sorry about that. Just keep enjoying here. Write more and you will earn more. Contact them when you really needed their help.

Yup. Just use it only when needed. I mean somehave a thought to delete their discussions for some simple typo errors or for having no responses. I don't think that admin will listen to that.
You should also give some proper reason to delete the discussion. All the best.
