I was under the impression we had passed laws recently to keep what is happening in this election from happening. What I am talking about is a politician "buying" the presidency which is exactly what Barack Obama seems to be getting away with! There are so many campaign contribution discrepancies in the Obama campaign, most of them will not be uncovered until after the election takes place and still Barack Obama spends money like it grows on trees blatantly thumbing his nose at all who question him! Here is an article giving you the low down of his total lack of ethics or judgement: http://news.yahoo.com/s/realclearpolitics/20081020/cm_rcp/the_buying_of_the_presidency2 Remember, this guy has shown you he can spend money real fast and real hard and the money he will be spending if he gets in the whitehouse will be yours!

Many suspect 0bama has figured out that as President he can squash most investigations so as long as he does not lose, no big deal as to campaign laws. Just how it works.

This has been going on for years. Money talks and BS walks. The main question is Where is it coming from? From what I can find it is not from the USA. The main investors in this presidential campaign is CHINA. Now why is that? What did he promise them? More foreign trade? Why are they funding his campaign? Then there is the oil sheiks of Saudi Arabia...What has he promised them? Why would any of these foreign countries give so much money to help a man hardly known to this country get elected as president? Most of the millions he is spending is from foreign countries. This is what bothers me the most. He wont answer any questions on this matter. Even donations from Kenya and the muslin's have been received to support his spending. I do believe he has put the old saying to work for him "You scratch my back and I will scratch Yours!" The problem is it will be us who have to pay back to the ones who scratch first.

Kowgirl, Thanks for the comment. I have a feeling our fingers are going to get very sore from all of the scratching!

Obama is getting donations from "the muslins" - pieces of fabric are donating to him now? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslin

Why would any of these foreign countries give so much money to help a man hardly known to this country get elected as president? The entire world "knows" the United States and is rather concerned with who its President is. The fact that a candidate is getting contributions from other countries is not an indication that he "promised them something." Or even if he did, it's not necessarily anything illicit.

It is so obvious that Obama is buying the presidency but with all the secrecy covering where much of the money it coming from leads me to the question who or what is actually buying it for Obama? How much influence will they have over Obama if he wins? What has he promised this unknown entity for their support? More has been questioned who is the real Obama? McCain is like an opening book. Woe to the future of the US under Obama.

Of course 0bama is buying the election. This article makes a lot of good points... It is too bad that his worshiping supporters can't see the reality.

That article is just somebody's opinion from a blog. Quite frankly, the McCain side is already preparing the excuses they're going to use for "why Obama won" - voter fraud, illegal campaign contributions, I'm sure there will be more if Obama wins. PART of the reason Obama's campaign has made so much money is from contributions, mostly small contributions from tons of people. There's been an interesting trend too: whenever Sarah Palin does something noteworthy, Obama's contributions go up.

It's a rather interesting phenomenon, isn't it? After Michelle Bachmann made her statement about anti-American people in Congress, people contributed over $750,000 to her opponents campaign.

Well Rodney, I am sure that this isn't going to surprise you, but you are wrong. There is no limit on the amount of money that a candidate can raise, or spend. You can cry all you want about all of the money that Obama is receiving, but the fact of the matter is that millions of Americans believe in him, and are sending him what ever they can afford. It is good to see a democrate beating a republican at their own game.

My point about this story is do we not hear every time team Obama Biden gets in front of a microphone that this is the worst economy in eight years, or whatever year total they want to use. If this economy is so bad then where is the money coming from? The question that you are asking is, is all this money legit, and I have no clue. I have heard and read stories here on MyLot about Obama taking huge sums of cash from oversea. If I remember correctly Redyellowblackdog and Ladyluna has reported on this. So maybe foreign countries are funding the Obama campaign, be that is just a theory.
