I am making some pumpkin muffins later tonight for the gas station, but I am not sure if I should do them plain or put a crumb topping on them. I did Blueberry with topping on Monday and Banana Nut yesterday without a topping. Do you like pumpkin muffins? Should I make them with or without a crumb topping?

Actually I had some just a couple of weeks ago. One kind had chocolate chips in them and the other had cream cheese frosting but no chocolate chips. I loved the ones with cream cheese frosting but I could see how you can't do that....a crumb topping would be nice I think.

My vote is for without the crumbs. OPumpkin muffins can carry themselves. They are yummy. Reminnd me of pie. And I cannot remember the last pumpkin pie I saw with crumbs on it

Maybe you could make some with crumb topping and some without. I guess that there are some that like crumb topping and some that dont. I personally like crumb topping but I dont know that others do. I guess you could just do whatever is appealing to you.

Chocolate chips sound very interesting. I would try like 6 of them that way see what the folks think that are buying them!
Nuts are good too.
