Waiting for the doctor

I normally sit there and read a magazine to try to pass the time. The doctor that I had when I was pregnant with my daughter was terrible about over booking patients. I was once late picking my son up from his after school program that ended at 6pm because of it. My appointment was at 3:30.

i read whatever's in the office, but i hate waiting when i have to take my mom.no matter what she goes in for,it's an almost gauranteed 4 hours,i have actually fallen asleep in the waiting room on occasion.it's hard to get an appointment on the base,so i have no choice rather than reschedule.

Well wen I get stuck being in a doctors office for myself or waiting with others on their appointments I either just talk with the one I am with or read a book if I thought to bring one or look at outdated magazines that I wouldn't think of looking anywhere else or in any other situation. My mom however likes to strike up a conversation with total strangers about various things.

Generally, I try to sleep. :)

That always happened to me before everytime when i have my monthly check up. I always complain about it,it feels not comfortable waiting for a longer hours and it annoys me coz that time i am pregnant. What i did is i asked the desk secretary is how far i am in the list and i will gout and find something to eat or drink then after 10 minutes back again to the clinic. I really don't know why they can't managed thier appointment list so that thier patient will not wait too long. Happy posting.

Yes, have done in while waiting. Usually I wait for my turn even if it takes ages because I don't want to come again the next day. These past months, I've been lucky to not wait for the doctor. Either I be the first one or the second one even if I was listed in the 6th or 7th because those who were listed first did not come on time or did not come back immediately after listing their names.

I just have to put up with the wait and I hate it. It is such a waste of time. why do they have appointments if we have to sit and wait one or two hours past that, LOL?
