I just cannot get myself to care about the news of the presidential candidates the past three weeks. Its literally been EX-HAUSTING to me and now that we only have a little over a few days Im getting more anxious. Look, having Bush voted in for a second term was damaging news to me and I found myself crying uncontrollably that day like I had been betrayed the feel was a mix of so much and caught me off guard but definite disappointment. So Im scared out of my mind to watch the news now this close in the game. Yes, so many are banking on Obama too but I did this same thing with utmost assurance Kerry would be put in office and that was crushed. I am not putting all my card on Obama that he will win because it just looks so close! Are you feeling the same way as me?

I'm just getting anxiety about who's going to win, not so much voting. I'm %100 confident in who I'm voting for. That person being *drum roll*: OBAMA. Of course. I would be willing to put a lot of money on Obama winning this election. I think he appeals to the majority of the middle class citizens and youth portion. When you think about it, that's a lot of votes. I think either one would make a good president, but I agree with more of Obama's views and decisions on things, so he's definitely getting my vote. Good post. :)

I just get this gloomy feeling that some rabbits gonna get pulled out of the hat even if Obama does win, like mentioned above, a recount because of voter fraud and the big expected mess of countless voter turnout

It sounds like you're being too pessimistic to me. Haha. I think Obama's gonna win and he's gonna blow McCain outta the water. That's how you gotta think if you want it to happen.

Think about it this way, revella: With the kind of desperate campaign McCain's run up to this point, don't you think that if they had some trump card up their sleeve they would have 'used' it already? Remember the whitey tape, or the African Press (iirc) tape or someplace like that with Michelle Obama? That was supposed to be the big "October Surprise". Well, surprise! October's over. They do stuff like this because they don't actually HAVE 'secret weapon's. If they did, they'd be talking about THEM, and then they'd deliver. Another thing to notice. McCain's bringing back REALLY old smears. That ought to be a clear indicator of how much 'new stuff' his campaign's got lying around. They're recycling because they have no raw materials.

Do your duty. Go on vote on election day. Pray that the best candidate will win and get elected. Leave everything else in the hands of God. Hopefully the best candidate will get elected for the benefit of America and all the world. © ronaldinu 2008

I know it's easy to say, but really just try not to stress over it! Do your part to make your voice heard and vote for whomever you think is the best candidate(s), then just sit back, and enjoy the show. The chips will fall where they may, and yes it may not be over on November 4th unless someone wins by a landslide. Personally this is the most exciting election that I can remember! I'm looking forward to getting off work, voting and then going home and making a nice dinner while I watch the results and spin on television. I've got the popcorn ready to go, I just wish I could take off wednesday so I could stay up later... Just relax my friend, the world isn't on your shoulders...

I look at it this way. The world may end, but neither McCain or Obama winning will have anything to do with it. I'm more anxious about the prospect of a one-sided government. It bothers me no matter which side.

Act like Obama is two points behind at all times. Then you'll know you did everything you could, REGARDLESS of how well he's actually doing.

yea, I decided Im gonna stand on the end of main street with my Hillary mask and rally with my Obama sign as long as I possibly can election day, lol But in the meantime still making calls, [sigh] Do think the lawns with both Obama and McCain signs are rather interesting

I'm not having anxiety, while I do agree that this race is soooo close, but I am getting tired of the campaigning. I'm getting robocalls from all of them. I'm tired of them...and the attacks...and the oh so interesting little articles from blogs and websites that no one has ever heard of. Go to the campaign websites if you're undecided and read the issues...and try not to put so much of your emotions into this elections. Someone will win and this country will go on. The only thing we can do as Americans...ALL OF US...is to look at the issues and vote. Whoever wins, wins...unless it's Obama and then the Republicans will be screaming that there was voter fraud, miscounts and hanging chads. Does that and the nasty, negative campaign they've been running tell you anything about the quality of the candidares on that side? This board is not a reflection of the views of the country...the polls are.

Cheer up it will be o.k. in the end. If you have seen any of my other posts, you know I am at the opposite side of the political spectrum from you. Even though I am hoping for McCain and I feel that it is important that he gets elected, it will not be the end of the world either way. When you get up on Nov. 5, is your life truly going to be different either way. Presidents are important but they are not what makes this country special. It is the citizens that make this country special. I feel strongly in my viewpoints because I think it is for the best of my fellow citizens. I am sure that most people that are polar opposites of me feel that what they want is for the best of their fellow citizens. No matter what happens we will continue to argue, bicker and enjoy the freedom of being able to do that. Neither one of these candidates will take that away from us in the coming years. This is serious business and we should make our opinions known, but can not let it rule our lives. I do hope you are disappointed Wednesday morning but I am sure life will be fine just like mine will probably be if I am disappointed Wednesday morning.
