Senior mylotters, where are you? Have you given up on making money online?

I see that most of the discussions are created by newbies (those with post count under 500). Where are the seniors? Have you given up on making money online or have you found better ways to make money online and have quit mylot? Please share with us. For me, after trying to make money online for more than 3 months, I sort of know the way to make money online but haven't achieved it yet.I'm working hard and will not give up. I'll show proofs when I have succeeded. Tell us your stories, senior mylotters.

I post less at myLot now, but that does not mean I have given up making money. It's quite the opposite, I am making more money, and that takes up more of my time, leaving less time for posting at myLot. There are some senior myLotters who are not interested in making money online. I also know there are other myLotters who are so successful with their enterprises, they have less time for taking part in discussions. I have always enjoyed using myLot for socialising, rather than looking for money making programs.

That's what I thought. Some of the seniors are too busy making money online. Thanks for responding, paid2write.

Yeah, have wondered where are the oldies here. Hope they come back and shed thier wisdom. If they have given up,it have nothing to do with money making online nut rather the drop in quality threads in "Make Extra Money" category. I want the one tha act as police here back!!! They were more fun to be with here... Curiousman, guess you're fast becoming an oldie here..

it is true that many seniors are no more active. may be they are not anymore interested here. they may have found some sites where they take some different activity. I am here mainly for friends and discussions. I earn little. i never consider it as earning.

I've always kinda floated in and out of Mylot, usually becoming bored after a bit. I make way more money through my blogging and article writing but every now and then get the urge to come back here for a bit usually until I reach payout and then toddle off again.

I am a senior on myLot, and I have been here two and a half years. In my opinion myLot seniors are not here to make money per se, but the money is like the icing on the cake. We do it for the fun thats in it! I believe myLot seniors are contributing their share of the Quality Posts here. WE do not post one liners, or ask questions that have been asked over and over again.

Maybe they were just there, just having some vacation from mylot. and having in some sites lol. just kidding. as for me, I am no longer a junior here. Ive been a member for 2 years now. But look at my posts.. hehe I wasnt that active. Its only now that I decided to go back here in mylot just for some added fun to my money making online journey. I can say that I have found other better paying sites but still I am here because the community is good. :)

so --mylot does not delete inactive members--thats nice--in most sites your account gets deleted so they can save on space --maybe thats why they can afford to take a break

Well, I have been in here actively posting for over 2 yrs. now. Sometimes I am not as active as other times, but I am not going anywhere as well. I easily most months continue to earn payout in here, and would not trade my experience here for all of the money in the world. Yes, a lot of the older people have given up on this site for one reason or another, but I guess we can just wish the Best for everyone continuing to come in here, that some will choose to want to become Senior mylotters on here someday as well.

I have been here over 2 years. I do make new post. I made two new posts yesterday. I think the newbies post so many that the older ones tend to get buried fast. I like to start new discussions but I feel mine are not worthy enough to catch others eyes. because alot of times noone will answer them or if they do. It is not many members doing it at all. So, I comment more on others. Right now I will say I am behind in creating discussions. I do have a notebook where I write down and questions and stuff I want to ask on here.

New Mylotters start many discussions, but they don't reply to many. Senior Mylotters reply first, than start new discussion.... If someone want to have many responds, he/she has to know how to get friends first.

Some of my lotters have given up, others have been kept away from here due to their family or work commitments. Various people might have various reasons for staying away from here.

I agree with Myklj a couple of pages ago. We are here. We are what keeps this site running. Yes, we don't post much in this interest, because we find that many of the discussions are just disguised sales pitches, trying to get people to sign up under their referral link. On the other hand, not many start discussions there either. I plan to start a few in the months ahead, but I think most seniors are more concerned with the information you get here, rather than ways to make money.

I come to mylot less because the pay is so small that I only visit for entertainment purposes. I write for other sites to make money. I like it here so I stay, but I use other places to earn. I miss some of the ones that were on when I first joined too. I am guessing the drama drove them away.

Mylot has turned into a place to go to find ways to make money online. It used to be about random topics but now it is mostly about money. Don't get me wrong, I like earning money online lol but I wish there were more other topics. Thanks for the post and happy mylotting.

I am thinking maybe people who have been looking around this section would have seen more than enough posts on earning money online and found something they like and stick to it... Would be helpful is newbies also looked through past discussions to check what options are there and then querying on those options as opposed to the many discussions 'how do I make money online?' You've already seen my blog Curiousman, I've found what works for me and I continue to use those means and update here if I receive a payment or continue updating on my blog on the various sites that have paid. Of course, if I found something that pays more, I'd like to investigate and do the usual reporting but for now surveys, reviews and the like is where I'm at.. plus this is only a hobby on top of my real job:) How are your 'projects' going?

The blog group is doing OK. We are climbing the serps. Starting to see our longtail keywords' rankings improve. In two months, we should start earning a residual income. You have a nice weekend. Love to hear from you!

I'm one of the senior mylotters. I'm on here just whenever I get a chance. I wasn't able to be on here a lot cause I was working a full time job outside of the home and not getting home until late but I quit that at the end of September. I'm cleaning a few houses now and try to be on mylot whenever I have the time. I don't really try to make a lot of money online. I just come on mylot to be able to have something to do and I enjoy talking to others on here and I've made friends on here so it's nice to be able to come talk with them.

I think people might have been affected by economic crisis or lost interest or migrated to greener pastures.

Am I classed as a senior mylotter? I was doing quite a few discussions but then as is the case with life I get too busy and do not get around to responding to everyone that answers it. I do not think that it is fair if I do not answer everyone so I decided to leave discussion setting for a while. No doubt I will start again at some point though.

we all should be happy that new people are joining my lot and giving their opinion. Lets face it mylot isn't the way to earn lots of money. Mylot is a place to share ideas and the more ther are the better it is.

It's going to be hard for the senior mylotters to respond if they have left Mylot.
