I got a coffee grinder. Really it was to grind flaxseeds, and we may not use it to grind coffee unless we see the Tim Horton brand of coffee beans in our store, since that is our favorite brand. We have a Beaumark. I wanted to get the more expensive one with the controls, but this was the cheapest. The other one cost almost $100. So with this one, the seeds go all over the place, and i usually put just a tbsp in of the flax seeds, that is. So what kind of coffee grinder do you use, if any, or do you buy the coffee ground, or grind it at the store?

When I do buy coffee I buy it already ground. I do have a coffe grinder to use for flaxseed and other herbs. I don't know what kind it is but it doesn't let the seeds go all over the place. it was a fairly cheap one too. I don't remember how much I paid for it but it is handy for grinding up herbs that I buy at the health food store where they are cheaper than the grocery store.

I have a Beumark, It is a Canadian brand (only comes with English and French instructions) and you press down the lid to get it to go. I do use it for flaxseed. Have not tried it with other herbs though.

I love fresh brewed coffee my husband does not. He only drinks Maxwell House instant coffee and when I get brewed coffee I always get it already ground. I was told putting it in the freezer after opening will help the coffee keep fresher.

That is what we used to do, put it in the freezer, but we drink coffee so fast, it does not last that long.

Usually we buy our coffee ready ground, but occasionally we get something special, and it is whole bean. Some people give it as gifts. We bought a very inexpesive little electric coffee grinder, about $15. I cannot tell you what brand, think it probably was Black and Decker. I actually bought two, one just for coffee, the other one for flaxseed or other spices. I also have bought beans and ground them at the store. They say it is best to grind just enough to use each time, but I am not that organized.

I will have to look for that one. We got a Beaumark and it cost $29.00 but you have to press the lid down to have it ground. I have not tried coffee with it yet, just flaxseed.

I accidentally bought coffee that wasn't ground before. I still have it 3 years later, I never managed to buy a grinder. I only have one of those aluminum coffee pots you put on the stove, so I don't make coffee much anyway.

I have a "Mr. Coffee" grinder but seldom use it. I am too lazy plus it is only the already ground coffee that I can buy cheaper on specials.

We are trying another coffee. My husband picked up the President's Choice All Canadian brand. I guess he thinks that tastes best. I told him it probably tasted like Nabob and I never like that brand, but he thinks if it says "Canadian" it has to be good. Tell it to me who saw movies like Cannibal Girls that was made in Canada.

I always buy my coffee already ground. It is alot quicker and easier for me. I don't own a coffee bean grinder yet anyway.

I got mine to grind the flaxseeds rather than get them already ground and have to store them in the freezer. But then I got some high fiber cereal so do not have to do that for a while.

I'm a coffee fanatic, and buy coffee beans whenever possible. If I can get to Trader Joe's, I stock up, though Target has been carrying some very nice estate coffees lately. More often than not, though, I buy two pound sacks of 8 O'Clock coffee beans because they're cheaper. I like to roast my own coffee too, and unroasted coffee beans are actually cheaper than roasted if you buy it online. I have a cheapie little Braun coffee grinder, but about a year ago, I bought a coffee maker with a built in grinder so that the beans are literally ground seconds before I brew the coffee. It's pure heaven to have decent, fresh-ground coffee!
