What do you do to Release Your Stress?

After all the hardwork that we' done, we need to release the stress by doing so many things that can make us happy ... What do you do to release your stress? Karaoke, or Hanging Out, Messages or Spa or Goin into sport club, Shopping, Eating, Jacuzzy, Sleeping, etc2 And why do you choose that? I like karaoke and shopping, sometimes goin to sport club or sleeping What do you do?

I sing, scream (as in screamo songs), or just headbang to some of my favourite songs. It's mostly music that relieves my stress, that or I write in my notebook when i'm depressed, and then edit them into songs! Hanging out and just having fun is nice too :D

Screaming can be one of the way to relief stress too but it's too bad, i can't find a best place to scream so other people won't hear my voice

Nothing relieves my stress more than a walk on the beach. There's something about the ocean that calms and soothes me. I also like to read when I'm stressed. I get myself wrapped up in someone else's life when I read. I save the sports clubs for when I'm mad and I pour all of that negative energy into getting myself in shape.

I love the beach so much that I even have CD's of ocean waves and ocean storms to listen to when I can't get there. Fortunately, I live fairly close to the beach and I go at least once a week.

I usually like to go home to the TV. Otherwise, it is here at mylot of late. A very good way for releasing stress. Post a gripe and get some advise. At the same time, earn a little few cents here and there for the gripes and replies. Win win situation. What other stress beater can beat that?

Hi dear Hope u must be doing well Well shopping is expensive way to release stress, i think it will be adding in stress Well For me, its either watching TV, Reading Book and sleeping and most of time spending time with family Take care

i usually go to the bar and hang out with friends. sometimes shopping n reading. hey, wait don't yo know that theres a better way to release stress? Just massage you tummy and your stress will gone away. Try it.. happy MYLOtting!

I put my self to rest, for example I sleep. I eat delicious food, and have time to relax in a quite place. And last but not the least, to lighten up my body, play basketball.

I totally forgot to add food, eating good, healthy food is SOOO good for us, especially when we're feeling stressed or burnt out. It's good for our bodies, minds, feelings, everything. I love food!

To have some sleeping is what I most want to do ,and I also think this is the best way to release the physical stess.After hardwork we all need to take a rest. But ,I really don't know how about spiritual stress ?

Exercise, meditation, sleep,and shopping helps considerably. I have severe depression with anxiety attacks and social anxiety too. So stress is the pits for me. Meds help but not all the time.

Hi, I don't release stress often enough so things end up getting on top of me. I generally take things out on the closest person to me - my husband. He is very understanding, but doesn't really do much to help. If I do manage to escape into my own little world it will involve shopping. Spending money always makes me feel better - although my daughter will now be very spoilt at Christmas time because i think I have gone over the top!!

A companion ... i think it's just make you feels better, coz you can pour your sadness, and stress, but sometimes we need times to get alone for releasing the stress, and myself just wonder how could shopping can make it work

To relieve stress i come to MyLot. The best place to de-stress. answer a few discussions and starte a few discussions and see other people's responses to yor discussions and have a laugh or smile and all tension is gone. In addition of course i do a bit of Yoga. Take some 200 deep breaths and pure oxygen runs through yor body sending energy through out your body to all cells.

There are so many things I do just to release the stress I have. Sometimes I talk with close friends of mine and have a good laugh with them over a cup of coffee.It is good getting in touch with them after the busy schedules.Sometimes, I tend to listen to music which is relaxing for me. I also love eating my favorite foods to release my stress.

I usually talk to friends when I'm stressed out too. That or I read, go for a walk, play with my kitty or my dog, or chill out with my son. It's VERY important to know how to deal with stress in healthy ways. For along time I had NO idea how to deal with my stress in a positive way but as I've gotten older I've practiced and experimented, so I have a few good methods in my toolbox now. I wonder if it's like that for everyone, if we all get better at dealing with stress as we get older?

I choose sleeping since more often than not I get tired from working so hard. Sleep regulates my physical and mental processes and keeps me aligned and in working order. cheers!!

there so many way to release stress and it depends on individuals. for me, when i'm stress, i listenn to music, depending on how stressed i am, determines the dtyle of music that i choose. Sometimes i would like to paly sudoku when stress, it gives me time to think and relax and concentrate on something else for a while.

i am constantly stressed out thats the problem. Cuz i feel that if i did release all the stress out i might hurt people cuz im always taking bs from alot of people and thats the kind of stress i have. Im kind of wondering a person to do to relieve so much pressure and stress. I want to do it soon. I have alot to deal with and i just cant seem to get away from stress evryday. Does anyone have any advice for stress relieving?

One of my favorite things is to get up early and watch the sunrise. it is quiet and so peacful. I also get professional massages as often asI can. I take bubble baths! with candles and aroma therapy oils and soak in a hot bath while playing music. it is real "me" time. I also enjoy reading and sufing the net ;-)

If I feel stressed I do exercise, but I guess just not enough. I have Physio therapy that I've been missing so I have to get there to get my neck and hand back in shape. I just don't have time for me and that's what is frustrating and I need extra time so that I can get everything done. I wish there were a few more hours in a day. And some other times I play, sing or listen to music. Depending on how stressed I am, determines the style of music that I choose. I've also personally found out that washing dishes by hand is a great stress reliever for me. It gives me time to think and relax and concentrate on something else for a while. Happy to sharing.
