Ran out of tape

I've been trying to get my gifts wrapped for like a week now. I meant tostart last Tuesday, but forgot. I managed to start on Wednesday, but wasn't able to get much done with the 2 little ones under foot. By Thursday I'd done quite a bit more. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday I didn't wrap a thing, I was too busy. So today I found a very opportune time to get some wrapping done. The toddler had fallen asleep on the sofa, so I brought the baby up and let him play on my bedroom floor while I played Christmas music and got to wrapping. So far both the twins gifts are wrapped, and I wrapped hubby's gifts today. I began to wrap the toddler's, but that's when I ran out of tape. Arg!! I still have to finish the toddlers, and start on the baby's and my oldest's gifts. But not too bad I guess. It's just a pain when I have to start and stop, because I hide everything so the kids don't see it. The scissors, tape, pens, and tags go in one of my drawers. The wrapping paper is hidden under blankets, and the presents are all stacked in a corner, in bags and boxes, and also hidden under blankets. But I really love wrapping presents. I wish I had more to do, and more time to do it. How are you coming on your wrapping? Have you even started yet?

I have not even started yet. As a matter of fact I still have some shopping to do before Christmas. And not only that but my birthday is a week before Christmas and my youngest's birthday is 2 days after Christmas. So I have to wrap up her birthday presents too. Argh.......! I really should have started to wrap them weeks ago. Now I have to hurry it up as this next week is the kids' last week in school and then they are home until after January 1st. And I am just like you because I hide the wrapping paper and the tags, and especially the gifts. Once they are wrapped that will be the challenge in keeping those hidden away somewhere. Hang in there, I know how it is as I have 4 kids and my husband to wrap for. And on top of that cooking the cookies, the fudge, and the Christmas dinner. And to plan on her birthday party too! Man you have alot on your hands. But it sounds like you have it pretty much in control. I wish we were all as organized as you. I don't wrap presents very well, that is why I let my wife do all the presents. She does a much better job than I do and they always end up looking beautiful. She has a knack for it that I don't.

I'm good at wrapping too, and love doing it! If the kids weren't home right now, I'd be doing more wrapping right now.

Tape is one thing I am not going to run out of. I have 4 rolls of 1000 inches each in the desk drawer plus 2 rolls in tape dispensers in the kitchen. I have not started mine yet. My daughter is asleep and my son is at school, so I could get some done now, but I have orders I have to get finished up.

I got loads of wrappin to do yet, started it all last weekend but did not get very far so will tackle some more this weekend. I have no fear of runnin out of tape though I think I have about six rolls of the stuff got it on special offer. I do my wrappin when hubby is about and then he keeps the kids downstairs for me, my daughter is way too aware this year of what is happening.

I haven't even started. In fact I haven't even put up my tree or decorations yet. We went out of town for Thanksgiving and it took me a week to get myself in order before I could do anything else. I just told hubby tonight that we have to put up the tree tomorrow night. That means into the attic I go, and I hate that part.

We just put our tree up this past weekend. We should hopefully be putting our lights up outside tomorrow. I bought some tape so can do some more work on my wrapping, but I'm expecting someone to show up today to buy my old freezer, so I'll have to stay down here until they show up. Hopefully it won't be too late.

I haven't even thought of wrapping yet. But then again I don't really have anything to wrap.
