What extra steps do you take to make house guests comfy?

whenever we have house guests at home, we clean the whole house, especially the room that they are going to use,change the bedsheets, the pillow-cases,clean the bathroom, prepare some special foods. Whenever house guests are expected my parents press the panic button. They keep worrying about something or the other going wrong.

If it is family they are a little less frills. But I do try to fix stuff they like,clean more,let them control the remote,put out extra towels that are fluffier, they get my favorite chair.Change sheets and covers.

i do clean-up the bathrooms and keep a new bathing soaps and towels.and i do see to it that i change the bedcovers for them.

Oh, the bed must be made up. Otherwise, I try not to stress over company too much. My wife does, so I guess I don't need to.

Hi,I put extra cushions and serve food and drinks and make sure they are occupied and all is fine. The only house guests we ever get are family. Clean sheet, clean pillowcase, clean blanket, and a good meal. Other than that everything stays the same.

The only house guest we've had in awhile has been my friend from Canada. Usually when she's down we do make special meals, there are certain local foods we want her to try since they're not available where she is. Other than that, I don't go to any special lengths.
